Episode Day 24 Daily Show and Overnight Eviction - 2/12/2025

they cut to an ad.. then just never revisit that storyline.
Same with the conversation between Ed and Vinnie in the laundry. After they were interrupted to sing carols, they continued their conversation in the backyard, apparently got quite heated before they kind of resolved things, it wasn't shown on the stream so I was hoping to see it in the DS tonight but instead we got another 5 mins of Bruce and Coco nonsense.

The fact this entire season has revolved around farts... seriously.
This season will go down in history in summary format:
A lot of farts were made, causing a lot of discussion about the moral implications of farting near others; however this did not lead to any conclusions.

I hope that we will be laughing at this season in a year or two ….🤞

Oh my gawd this episode was lame af.

Did I miss Coco winning the coffee machine or what happened to that second cup she was preparing for Bruce in that extremely perilous challenge she was given? Did they really not conclude that challenge or was I too busy trying to catchup on the daily post? lol

It was ridiculous that the heat between Colin & Coco was immediately erased by BB allowing her to give him her coffee stash, resulting in total turnaround with Colin suddenly becoming all happy again. That wasn’t even her own idea, and now that one storyline crutch is gone. lol well done BB, I guess it’s finals week 🤷

It’s not like I will go back & rewatch this episode to find out if they actually got the coffee machine eh. 😂

Now I just want to bring up something and reflect upon my catchup tonight with the forum here on my phone alongside.

I love the show BB, and while I agree with most of you, especially when it’s an intelligent or emotive discussion about it, there are some that come in and continuously post such negativity and I muted about 3 or 4 of those posters tonight. If you hate this show then quit it and do something else, if you have nothing to offer other than shit negativity and you don’t bring any positive insight or views to the table then I’m muting your crap from my feed, kinda sick of that certain percentage on this forum, I’m here for real people and not permanent negative nellies that never say anything positive, those posters are such a drag on what is just a mediocre show at the moment.

  • So relieved Vinnie is gone. What a bitter, thin-skinned weed of a person. 😮‍💨 Exhausting.
  • For all Pete C's faults, I was glad to have him back today. The other Big Brother who sounds like a ghost scares me. 👻
  • I've railed against "everyone does [Thing X] when they hear [Sound Y]" tasks in the past, but this is weirdly entertaining to me. I wouldn't want it to be done more than once a series, but it's kinda refreshing after the heaviness of the hotel task (which was also great, just in a different way).
  • As far as backdoor evictions go, that was a pretty fun one, but I don't know why they gave us blanket coverage of utter shite about a football (and Coco's Christmas bloody Café) and then crammed the eviction into the last 15 seconds. Bizarre editing this year.
For some reason I'm reminded of a GLaDOS quote whenever I try to sum up the entire series in my head, so I'm going to let her tell you what I think:

Also, what the fuck happens, um... [checks world clock on phone] today? Wednesday. I think we were all assuming it'd be a live eviction, but I kinda think they're going to waste an hour of the crowd's time (and the viewers') and then evict someone off-screen again. Do we have any details yet? 🤔

They really are just making these decisions on the absolute fly huh? It's got the vibe of a first time director of a school play ATM, just a complete shitshow.

I wish they'd shown way more of Alana and Emily hiding the stuff. The boys really cracked it and none of it was really shown. But of course it wasn't showmance footage or a task so it gets edited down to stuff all like most other organic footage this season...

It's kind of hard to work out who the next people to go are this season. You'd have to think that Bruce and Ed will be trouble but who knows really.

After Vinnie's nominations, and surprise 7 points from one of his "best mates" Edward, in the house, he looked like his soul had been drained out of his body. Then to be told by Ed that he hadn't been talking about him being fake behind his back, when we all know that Ed was the one discussing it with all the housemates. I feel for Vinnie and his mental health. I hope the show has a good mental health plan after he left because they have certainly pushed him to the limit

God, the showmance stuff is a chore and the constant diary room cuts take much more away from the show than they add but fair play the actual eviction was excellently executed, even if it was terribly filmed. Seemed to have several close ups of Vinnie in the lead up but then none when he found out he was going. Camera seemed to be mostly focused on Ed.

The split screen still looks absolutely awful too.

That eviction was brutal but wonderful television. What a moment. I wasn’t able to watch last night but I had a few friends who know I love BB and whom I wasn even aware were watching it this year text me about it.

I do also feel sorry for Vinnie after the Ed nomination. Vinnie’s conversation with Ed was kind of heart breaking. Vinnie saying Ed should have talked to him about it previously was bang on. I don’t like Ed.

Also can we please get Holly back? I’ll take the Holly and Colin showmance over Bruce and Coco any day of the week 🙄. It just all feels so hypocritical of her after the way she went at Holly and very timely that all of a sudden she maybe is actually interested in Bruce after nominations. Come on!

Emily and Alannah’s hiding stuff around the house was a bit funny, including the trip 😂

I enjoyed that episode!

And there's nobody in there that will call her out on what a hypocritical bitch she is.

Chances are Bruce will run for the hills after seeing how beat up her pussy is from spending the past decade treating her womb like a theme park.

It's baffling how they completely missed Vinnie's reaction to it - despite several closes ups leading up to it which somewhat make it obvious when it is actually announced it's quite a few seconds before they show Vinnie with the other nominees shown first.

Pity they didn't kick out some of the other men like Bruce and Connor first, there are way worse people than Vinnie still in there.
I really not a fan of Bruce. Coco as well. The manipulation from Coco is sickening. But Bruce seems to be ok with it, and even self reflected due to it 😝

They are not my kinda people, but they do seem to get on as a couple, you know it takes all types.

Connor though, I find him to be pretty decent compared to the others, I don’t get the dislike for Connor. He has not taken part in any of the bullying that I saw and is generally a bit of a voice for reason. Extreme at times such as him having a hissy fit during Holly’s HoH but all round he can hold a decent conversation and is pretty sophisticated compared to some
of those dummies in the house.

They didn’t miss it, they just over produced it. Like so much of this season, the editing was ridiculous during that moment - inconsistent cutaways and continuity errors between each take just to “maximise dramatic effect”. 🙄 I noticed there was a reaction shot of Vinnie that was shown in the promo but didn’t even make the final cut of the actual episode.

I’m sorry but that’s the point of the show and what they literally sign up for. They get told they will be tested. I’m sure they get looked after though.
Also I’m seeing a lot of picking and choosing on here about housemates bitching behind each others back and which ones are called out for it. Almost everyone in there has been doing it, Vinnie included. He called Allana fake and then lied to her saying he never said anything bad about her. They all do it. Emily is the only one not really saying much bad about anyone.

A small gripe / reminder ...

Please people ... remember that not all of us watch live streams or read social media. I logged on last night just before the daily show to enjoy the discussions and to watch the surprise-eviction, only to have that surpirse eviction ruined for me by early posts in the thread confirming that Vinnie had been evicted.

For events like that one, where we definitely know it is going to be shown on the daily show ... especially if it is designed as a kind of cliff-hanger ... please remember that not all of us watch the live streams and read social media, so we probably don't know about it yet and are therefore looking forward to seeing it play out on the daily show ...

Please can we post about such things as SPOILERS.
