Episode Day 24 Daily Show and Overnight Eviction - 2/12/2025

The way they just blatantly keep making up and changing the schedule as they go hahaha

As I was speculating in the live chat, Vinnie was actually evicted today and so normally would be on tomorrow's show. The footage was so shit for todays show they decided to jam it in the end. As opposed for it being in the daily show tomorrow with Vinnie on stage and the new noms or whatever.

Mel said last night that the overnight eviction would be seen tonight.

I don’t understand why they show Colin uncovering the Burberry Goddess EDP in the dressing room nook, confronting the girls over it, they cut to an ad.. then just never revisit that storyline.

Have they gotten the Cert 3 TAFE students back on board to edit the daily shows?!

This is such a sad episode for Vinnie to leave out on. Probably doesn't really get to resolve much with Ed and whoever else and just gets kicked out in middle of the night when they least expect it.

Oh well I tried to save him by voting him.
Yeah I voted to save Vinnie as well.

Seemed to be the best competition to a Colin win.

Imo, I hope Allana wins from here.

I think it's more that they don't care about anything except the TV ratings. The side effects of this are:
  • They're paranoid about anything that they perceive could jeopardise the ratings, which is why the live stream is being cut so much more lately.
  • They don't want to try anything new
  • They fall back into tired Australian TV tropes - white het couples
  • They emulate Love Island
  • They're scared of airing any kind of organic content. Everything must be tightly controlled with diary room cutaways where housemates have been prompted to give narration. There hasn't been one daily show where they let a scene play out naturally.
So all in all, paranoia and lack of production talent is the defining characteristic of this season's daily shows.

The thing is, even if people knew Vinnie was evicted, they would still tune in to see it on TV and also see his interview. But you won't be able to convince paranoid production this.
Yep its very different to the dancing doona back when it first started but then they also showed uncut in the showers very brave back then
