Episode Day 24 (21/08/13): BB Tear down that wall

I love those Sugar Sisters...I want to take one home and keep as a Mascot...no, I want them both..as Caleb so eloquently put "They come as a pair"

First they'll probably show the wall coming down then go to Saturday's showdown, then to yesterdays daily events, then show the wall going up then the eviction show, then nominations & back to the wall....
So funny but true. What a confusing year this one is. No continuity all over the place. But by god the ads keep rolling in on queue. Monday nights eviction went on and on and ad after ad after ad I actually dozed off and missed the second eviction. Had to wait until next day to find out.

Thoughts:

-Tully was going to cry when she got a strike but she didn't!!! She also stopped herself from crying when Ben's mum came up on the screen and Tully was presumably thinking about her own mum. I think she's getting better at controlling her emotions.

 they showed us all of 2 seconds of her reaction to getting a strike. My bet is that if they had extended coverage by... Say... 3 more seconds, your point would be moot.

Alex has probably just seen that we are all sick to DEATH of her whinging and sooking.

and I bet when she told others she got a strike there would have been many many tears then as well

random thoughts:
- i had to cringe at the affection tully is showing drew. gay, straight, bi - I know you're in a closed environment with minimal social options, but you don't disrespect your partner by stroking the arm, leg, stomach, and hair of another person, and then get into some spooning. that makes you a cheating scumbag. (Mrs. Riddim says i'll find the locks changed and my shit on the lawn in tatters if that happens)
Perfectly put.

is she allowed to tell the other housemates about it? does BB tell them? I missed the whole section because of inconvenient husband wanting to make actual conversation in the middle of my viewing (rolling eyes - he has some nerve!!!) so not sure if it was announced to the other HMs or not?

Wasn't she given the strike on the day were there were no updates all day? Coincidence?

still wondering why Ben didn't get a strike after talking to Mum and Nan about them needing to hurry up and vote ... going to far as telling them to text or call ... whilst I'm ok with him saying Hi to his photos and having his little debrief I thought the voting convo was out of line ... I know others have skated very close to the line also but this seemed like a pretty big breach so is BB playing a little soft for Ben?

If it was announced we didn't see it, but I thought they would be allowed to say they got a strike.

This is peeving me a tad, I don't really mind Ben, but BB seems to be veryyyy soft on him.

All in all I found that to be a very enjoyable episode.

Like riddim I am glad there was no Sonia, I watch it back later and I get a sore hand dicking around with the remote on Monday and Tuesdays (poor, poor me)

Matt - Well. He was so unbelievably offensive I could not tell if he was serious or not; I soon found out after his antics in the backyard. Arrogant, sexist, self-centred boofhead. Wonder if the ladies are still hot for a man that wants you to be his little bitch?

Tully - disrespectful hoebag. She is worse than Jade because she is not single and again I am with riddim - your shit would end up on the lawn

Ed / Heidi- Bananas was good. Only personality from Ed so far (I have the same issue with tomatoes). Heidi is just a loudmouth with no whimsy - I also wonder if she would be different in the house is she was single.

Jade - felt sorry for her last night, she obviously has huge self esteem issues and as bitchy as they were Tully / Jas were probably right about their assessment that 'it is all she knows' to go after the boys.

Sugar Sisters - they are so damn malleable, BB could ask them to do anything and they would I reckon. Wasn't impressed with the rude reactiion to their spray tans from the other housemates though.

I left my post for too long and forgot all my other salient points.

i think bb is just a lot more chilled since being at 9, they do a lot of strategising that would have been pulled up for nomination talk in previous years, and bb interacts with them now, they are not as strict on a lot of things so i guess it's just not that big a deal any more.....it's heaps better.

Noms must happen in the morning, and they must find out right away

which takes away from the idea of the Live show. feel a bit cheated

which morning monday or tuesday ?

are all daily shows at least a day behind, excluding evictions ?

I missed the ep last night so I'm watching it online now. Gotta say though, I couldn't stop laughing during the spray tan segment. Especially loved Lucie's (I think that's the one) reaction after saying yes to the challenge. "Wait... that's good."

Yeah ... that little moment of realization that it was a good deal was brilliant and made her even happier than she already was ... which I didn't know was possible
