5:53pm - Bruce and Holly are planning the party they need to host soon.

Holly says she's going to have a coffee (against the rules) and asks Bruce if he wants one. He says he better not... he has a feeling the more they stuff up the more likely they're going to fail the task. Holly says she'll take Bruce's lead.

Holly announces the forthcoming party to the other housemates. They have a very wooden response.

 

[Tim]

6:11pm - Holly and Bruce setting up the backyard for the cocktail party tonight. They keep justifying their earlier bad behaviour to each other, again and again, as them needing to eat and that they were treated really badly. They say they won't care if they get punished, unless it affects Coco and Ed (the other hotel staff housemates).

 

[Tim]

6:16pm - Colin joins Bruce outside and is asked what the mood is like inside the house. Colin says he's just trying to sleep through the whole thing to make the task go faster.

Bruce admits that some of his behaviour was too abrasive. Colin replies "mmm".

 

[Tim]

6:23pm - Colin starts bitching about Conor to Bruce.

Colin says that he was telling the hotel guests that they can request food and drink but don't have to be assholes about it. Colin believes no one listened to him but later when Conor said the same thing, everyone paid attention.

The party tonight is meant to be a "mixer" where the hotel guests and staff can talk to each other (which wasn't the case for the start of the task).

6:28pm: BB announces to staff to gather the guests for the pool party, Holly and Coco go inside to tell them it's time to come outside. Coco asks BB if this means that they can also have a drink/refreshments.

 

[Tim]

6:30pm - Happy hour has started. All housemates can have drinks, but it sounds like they have only been provided with mocktails

 

[Tim]

6:38pm - Most of the hotel guests toast "to the manager!" (Ed). Holly, Bruce and Colin are not involved.

 

[Tim]

6:49pm - Colin and Holly are having a big fight.

Colin doesn't want to mix with the other housemates outside, but Holly says they have to for the task

Colin says to Holly: "I don't know why but I feel so fucking angry at you bro"

Holly says that she hasn't slept or eaten and this is why they're angry. Colin is really angry and starts talking in circles again, about how annoyed he is at Holly.

The feed is moved and muted immediately.

 

[Tim]

6:52pm - The fight seems to be wrapping up, but the audio is muted and the feed is moved away again.

 

[Tim]

6:59pm - Colin angrily walks into the dining area, slams his cup on the table, then storms into the bedroom.

He says to himself: "Cool, I will so remember that bro, I will so remember that, eat a dick"

It's unclear whether he's directing this at Big Brother, or at Holly.

 

[Tim]

7:11pm - Most housemates outside chatting about light topics. How crazy the weather is in the Queensland, how they are tracking a family of birds in one of the trees nearby.

Colin is not there. Bruce remains very, very quiet. Holly has been making a cheese platter inside.

 

[Tim]

7:17pm - Conor and Bruce are sitting exactly across from each other and keep ignoring each other.

Eventually, Bruce says "can you guys all at least say something nice about the food" (that he made).

"And such a good chef..." (gesturing to Ed).

All of this in directly front of Conor.

The housemates humour Bruce and Ed.

7:21pm - Holly tells some of the housemates that Colin is in the diary room having a vent to Big Brother.

Outside, HMs start talking about how many fruit platters were eaten last night. They all agree that Colin ordered too much and would never eat that much food. Even Emily gets in on the complaining, saying that it caused Colin to fart more than usual.

Holly is telling some HMs that Bruce was the first person to break the no eating rule, then she followed. She goes on, again, yet again, to say that it was the lack of food and sleep that caused her to behave badly. Then, "you just move on, you do what you do".

Abiola and Vinnie walk away from Holly. Vinnie says to Abi, "you'll only disappoint yourself if you keep talking to some one and expect them to change".

7:22pm - Holly in the bedroom chatting with Vinnie and Abs, through their microphones you can hear Colin the diary room yelling or crying.

7:27pm - Outside Abs expresses her concerns of Colin and hearing him venting to BB.

7:29pm

Coco to Holly: "What's going on with Colin"

Holly: "He went off at me. He's disappointed in me because I didn't use my brain and I ate food during the task"

She says that Colin went "rar rar rar" about the task and was belittling her.

 

[Tim]

7:30pm - 7:45pm - Hotel staff are preparing dinner, but not much else happening other than them grumbling about it.

 

[Tim]

7:45pm - Colin emerges from the diary room. He has clearly been crying a lot and is snotty. Some HMs ask how he's going and if he wants a hug. He says he doesn't want to hug, and walks to the bathroom.

 

[Tim]

7:55pm - Coco is crying. She says that she walked into a room and realised that Holly, Bruce and Ed were talking about her.

"That's bullshit", says Allana.

Coco is hanging out with the hotel guests now in the bedroom. The other hotel staff are in the kitchen cooking.

Coco spends a long time complaining about Holly.

 

[Tim]

8:04pm - The bedroom HMs are bitching heavily about Bruce, Holly and Colin.

They complain that none of them tried to join the mixer party earlier. "Particularly one person, who's always not there or late" says Allana.

Allana thinks that Bruce has "memory dumped" what he did to Conor earlier today (threw the vent grate at him).

The group talk about how narcissistic they think Bruce is. Vinnie thinks he's not medically a narcissist, but Allana thinks that doesn't matter, he still has narcissistic tendencies.

Abi says that Bruce is ignoring her now because he doesn't want to face her after yelling at her. "Because he's a fucking asshole" says Conor.

Allana was very angry that Bruce was angry at all of them earlier, but then turned to Colin and said "but not you, you're the best" even though Colin was also part of the group trying to make the hotel staff lives' hell.

 

[Tim]

8:12pm - Conor has gone outside to try and comfort (or make amends?) with Colin.

He jokes that Colin is lying so still that people mistake him for being dead. Colin starts talking about his family which causes the feed to be cut.
