I imagine part of the issue is finding a crew at the last minute to work a short job that requires relocation in Nov/Dec. The local production industry is pumping, and the best talent would be booked and busy.

It's the byproduct of shoehorning in a short season at a shitty time of year.

I do wonder if there was genuine intent for the series to run the extra fortnight with planned intruders. Back to my delusional brain but maybe Ten isn't 100% satisfied with the product Endemol is producing and theres some serious conversations happening? Or maybe Ten is just broke

Yeah it did sound like the length of the season was undecided at the start, from what 10's EP said. Really is a shame they shoehorned it in like they did.

I don’t use a television. I always stream on apps from my phone and every day I watch something live and have to sit through commercials I’m like “this is why I don’t watch commercial tv anymore”

I have said all along that maybe Australia just cannot support 3 commercial TV channels, unlike say America we don't have the huge populations.

Though I did say become obsolete within our lifetimes. Not necessarily within the next 5-10 years but I could definitely see it happening within the next 20-50

There will be product placement and sponsorships, though with the lack of credits I'm not exactly sure how that's working.

My guess is a lot of the furniture is donated to some degree. There's no way they're spending that kinda money on furniture when the house is literally rotting in place.

This could, in theory, work purely online. Their social media presence is already there. Netflix is already doing live broadcasts and it's available immediately after airing. There would need to be some format adjustments to make that work, but it's definitely plausible. Would it work on Instagram or TikTok? I don't know if my eyes can handle Big Brother purely in 9x16.

They got some chairs out for Jane but then were back to standing for Mia's little bit.

Vinnie getting rattled by Janes message, Well tbf you can still be yourself and not 'fake' to who you are whilst stilll 'playing the game' in some ways iykwim.

That being said a lot of those nominations were pretty strategical reasoning, a few 'under the radars' and 'I think they are quiet/they could win'.

The vote could go all manner of ways actually when you think about it, Are we still only limited to one vote? with four up, all of them are some big characters in the house, and with another possible double, who would be strategic to go for do you think to angle to get someone else out? hmm. We shall see.
