There's no logic in having only one housemate removed this week, and you're left with one week to get rid of NINE housemates.
The thing they had going didn’t bother me until Bruce has been trying to ham it up. I like Coco though. I think he’s pretty much gone as I can’t see him getting enough save votes against those 3.Holly does provide most of the content, but I want the fucking showmances to be over. That includes Bruce and Coco. If Bruce goes, I'll consider that a win.
Each evictee gets to influence the game. Jane was allowed to choose Head of House. Mia needed an influence on the game too, so she was allowed to nominate. Some of these twists aren’t the easiest to follow. I don’t understand why Mia was allowed to vote?
I've done the same. It's not because I necessarily like her - everyone's talking about "tactical voting", that's mine. She definitely isn't winning so I'm considering a vote for her now is a strategic vote in favour of any of the other nominees potentially going before Finale. Same reason Abiola was saved by Allana - she won't win, but it's a strategic move to ensure the boys at least have a chance of going.
Not like she hasn't pulled that face a million times before.

Tics with Tourette’s is different though because it’s literally something that someone INVOLUNTARILY says or doesYeah it is a tough one - balancing the needs and rights of disability and sexuality.
Reminds me of a case in England a few years ago where an autistic teenager was arrested for public homophobia for telling a police officer with short hair that "she looks like a lesbian". Online comments sections of major mastheads were abound with people defending either side - the rights of gay people to live free of homophobic comments - and the unique need of understanding for autistic people who sometimes blurt out the wrong thing.
She's the one who did it lolI see what you did there!![]()
My guess is that Mia was allowed to nominate as Jane was given the responsibility to pick the head of houseCatching up after the fact.
Idk what’s going on behind the scenes on this show but I feel like I’m on a rollercoaster and I’m getting whiplash. We get glimpses of a show that’s actually good before it just collapses again.
The backing music is still an ongoing issue for me. It’s just so unnecessary and it’s also way too loud at times that it’s just distracting and makes the content hard to hear. When in doubt just don’t add music.
Some of these twists aren’t the easiest to follow. I don’t understand why Mia was allowed to vote? Why didn’t they just show her parting message after Jane’s? What’s with the no chairs for Mia’s interview?
Colin is so fucking vile. It’s like watching a rat walk around with human legs covered in mosquito bites. He’s giving Ratatouille and I don’t want him near my food.
Oh you beat me to it lolEach evictee gets to influence the game. Jane was allowed to choose Head of House. Mia needed an influence on the game too, so she was allowed to nominate.
I actually didn't mind Mia's nomination being public, she's not in the game any more, she doesn't need the same benefit of secrecy that the housemates still in the game do. And it added to the explosion of truth bombs, made some of the housemates see the truth.![]()
My initial reaction: Fuck off it wasn't?!the wild thing is that was four years ago which is crazy
Well you were right. I'm just surprised for such an obviously cut-price season they would spend $3200 on 16 chairs for the dining room. Maybe they were having a 50% off sale.I know this is a joke but I think these might be the actual chairs.
There will be product placement and sponsorships, though with the lack of credits I'm not exactly sure how that's working.Well you were right. I'm just surprised for such an obviously cut-price season they would spend $3200 on 16 chairs for the dining room. Maybe they were having a 50% off sale.
Yeah, previously it would have been a sponsorship deal... but as you say there are no credits, and no sign of advertising for that kind of thing during the show. This is exactly why I am curious about it. What does the supplier get out of it?There will be product placement and sponsorships, though with the lack of credits I'm not exactly sure how that's working.
My guess is a lot of the furniture is donated to some degree. There's no way they're spending that kinda money on furniture when the house is literally rotting in place.
I do wonder if there was genuine intent for the series to run the extra fortnight with planned intruders. Back to my delusional brain but maybe Ten isn't 100% satisfied with the product Endemol is producing and theres some serious conversations happening? Or maybe Ten is just brokeWell you were right. Yep I share the same mindset. I never bought the "trial" season thing, in my mind the holdback ended up being a bigger issue than anyone thought and Ten just wanted to get it to air when they could. They were probably trying to avoid embarrassment by delaying it, but honestly that would have been the better thing to do.This is what I think.
Ten wouldn't take on the show knowing they couldn't afford it. I think Endemol, for whatever reason, hired producers this time around who aren't competent with the format. Admittedly, it's weird given the apparent hiring of Jonathon Summerhayes who really should know better.
The rumour this is a "trial" season is just strange. They signed on for three seasons. I think they just wanted to get the show off the ground after the holdback and they paid for the show and signed a contact. Endemol has produced all 16 seasons. The experienced crew knows what works and what doesn't. It would be strange if Ten didn't have some sort of idea with what direction Endemol intended to go in, but I can't imagine Ten seeing this and thinking it's better than what they were airing originally. If I where high up at Ten and was seeing this on my channel there would be a list of people to consider firing. I mean it's back at Dreamworld ffs - I think that shows what direction they were likely going for... OG!
Yeah it did sound like the length of the season was undecided at the start, from what 10's EP said. Really is a shame they shoehorned it in like they did.I do wonder if there was genuine intent for the series to run the extra fortnight with planned intruders.
