Episode Day 15 (22/09/2014) Monday Night Live #2

I think Aisha looked like she'd had professional dance training, hence I was more impressed by Dion & Jason's routine. Plus it's harder to do a routine with 2 guys than with a girl. Mind you Lawson was surprisingly awesome.

Was anyone else watching Gemma's reaction to the news that Lisa & Skye had the highest no. of votes to save? I feel like she delusionally believes she and Jake are totally safe from eviction, in fact she's said so, so it was interesting to read her disappointment and like 'WTF?!' face to see the airheaded girls saved ahead of her.

That's a pretty shitty ultimatum Big Brother has given Aisha and Lawson. That money should be split 50/50 and stuff the other housemates. They did the hard yards.

Rock, paper, scissors would be the only fair way to make the call on this. I get where you are coming from regarding the ingenious part.

You got that right about Big Brother. A deadest prick this year>>>👹

:p
Big Brother has always been a prick!

I never understand people who go into the house and expect a holiday.

You are Big Brother's guinea pigs, that's what it means when you sign your name on the dotted line. It's why it annoyed me when Sandra constantly whines and gives up on challenges. These challenges are a part of the Big Brother house!

Almost finished last nights show and I LOVED it!!!!

That dance off was laugh out loud funny!

They really are a great bunch to watch!

sacrifice is noble but it can also be done by a woman. I also think Lawson did this to score points with the public to win the final prize so not so noble.

I think Lawson comes from a rich family, and he still lives at home. Aisha lives in sydney on her own while working two jobs.

Define rich family and provide evidence as I may have missed. Irrelevant to my point though. Lawson wants to win and he certainly wants the big bucks.

I think I remember him telling big brother that he comes from a rich family. I don't know how rich his family, but they are obviously rich enough that Lawson can turn down twenty thousand dollars.

But he also didn't do it because he has a rich family. He also did it to look good, to look the hero. It is the game he is playing, the game of being the nice guy. The game of being everyone's friend. But I think think Lawson is that nice guy, which is why it could win him big brother. However I can't hep feeling that Lawson knows that giving twenty grand to Aisha makes him the good guy. He is thinking strategically, yet it is also complementing his good guy personality. This is a game, and they all want to win, and I think Lawson is happy to sacriffice twenty grand for the chance to look good.

So I think Lawson gave Aisha the twenty thousand for four reasons.

1. He is a kind person.

2. The fact that he still lives at home, while Aisha lives in Sydney working two jobs.

3. He looks good in front of the housemates.

4.He looks good to the viewing audience.

Thanks for taking the time to explain. I agree mostly with this. I also do think Katie made a good point that goes a little against your first point of him being a kind person. I suspect he is but also I think he's not truly being genuine and honest. I don't think Lawson is as socially awkward as he makes out. He's quite cunning which comes from his magic background. He's playing the game hard and being manipulative. I'm liking him less and less as to me it's being two faced. Again thanks for your reply.
