Episode DAY 10: DAILY SHOW (60m) + CONFIDENTIAL (30m)

I have been TRYING to remain optimistic about this year, however last night was the most confusing and poorly edited show. Given the poor ratings I am feeling less and less optimistic.
[MENTION=99]Goon[/MENTION] - can you tell us WHEN the cricket task was filmed?? Because by that stage the half way HMs were already the new bunch. So unless that was footage from Wednesday, noms can NOT have been live.

(I actually don't care if they are live or not, I just hate when you try t pass it off as live. A la the terrible cuts between Shelley and the michaels on showdown)

Ambipur. It was used in the massage scene. It was used to cover up the smell of farting, which was why it was part of Confidential. (No, really!) BB must have set the whole massage thing up with Tim, Jasmin and Drew, with Jasmin instructed to put rocks on their "digestive parts" and Tim obliging with the fart, and then Ambipur comes to the rescue. Yes, Tim, Drew and Jasmin were all actors in a product placement. Quite sickening the more I think about it.

Then I think of last year, and we had Michael's ankles advertising KFC, and several other HMs saying how good KFC was.

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that. I just had another watch and it's pretty blatant with Drew saying she had gone to get the Ambi-pur:

Tim: Where's she gone?

Jasmin [in background]: Now this next part I'm just going to...

Drew: Ambi-pur.

Jasmin: ...will remind you of meadows and rain. So just [sprays]

Tim: That's nice, what's that?

Jasmin: This is Meadows and Rain. So this is for the inside healing, this is to to relax your mind as well as your muscles. So again, breathe in through the nose. Ah perfect. [goes to break]

He also looks a spitting image of the Holographic Doctor out of Star Trek (Robert Picardo).
On another note; worst daily show ever, like EVER!! The producers/editors really need to raise their games or I for one, will be switching off.

I've met Robert Picardo (at Armageddon Melbourne in 2011) and he's the loveliest guy! Gave me a hug and everything! I can sort of see what you mean, though I think his features are larger. Ben reminds me of an old lady I work with. They have the same facial expressions and mannerisms!

Don't worry - it's already been confirmed by Brekkie that it wasn't live. Not quite sure what stunt Goon is trying to pull. The whole show is all over the place. I wouldn't be surprised if they show us footage from episode one tonight mixed in somewhere.

Goon: The cricket game started Tuesday MORNING/EARLY AFTERNOON - the housemates were ALREADY in their designated areas. That is all!

I believe you Goon. But even if Sonia and her studio audience was LIVE, are you sure the cross to the booth was live? as in for a fact from your experience rather than just because they didn't clean the booth?

Haven't been here for a few days so I missed the debate about noms being live/not live, it's certainly possible Sonja with the audience was live, but the actual nominations definitely weren't. The most obvious giveaway was the lack of a 'LIVE HOUSE' tag in the corner of the screen. But there were little things, like you could see edit points where housemates suddenly got up and entered the chamber a bit too quickly. Plus every time they went between the house and Sonja it was always timed too perfectly, there were none of those pauses and moments you wait for someone to speak or get in position like we've always had in the past on a live show.

I had assumed the noms were recorded on Monday night, but that comment by BB certainly implied it was done Tues morning, which also fit into the continuity of the rest of the show. It means Wednesday's daily show can continue directly on, from where the main house/halfway HMs get rearranged. Plus there's no windows in the lounge room so you can never tell what time of day it is in there.

Goon - you know they never reshoot anything with the housemates, so the bug on the window doesn't mean anything.

I'm guessing Sonja & the audience (plus Shelley) were done from Ch 9 in Sydney? They have one of those big wraparound screens, it's used in a lot of their other shows.

I have definitely NOT made my mind up, [MENTION=99]Goon[/MENTION]. My question is legitimate. When was the cricket task filmed? The nominees were already in the halfway house. So if you can tell us that they have changed what they show us in the daily show and it will actually be footage of the same day then I can understand. Or isn't is possible that Sonia was live but she was crossing to prerecorded scenes of the HMs in the chamber?

The booth was 100% "dead" as opposed to live LOL! It's already been determined that it was not live - Matt walking to the booth, next second he is in the booth. Drew looking down, next second facing the camera in the booth. This along with many other things (including the fact that the cricket game started early on Monday and all the hm's up for eviction were already in the h/way house).
 
Goon we have never underestimated you, but what you are telling us now is 100% flawed. There is no way nominations happened Tuesday night (i.e. AFTER the cricket task footage we saw in yesterday's Daily Show). Unless they really are messing up the timelines and for the first time ever decided to mix footage from Wednesday into Wednesday's Daily Show (which I know wasn't the case anyway). This is all we are trying to clarify!
 
And whether Brekkie's in the UK or not, or whether I'm in my home as opposed to being there, it doesn't take a genius to notice how badly the show was put together.

agree, but goon is adamant and I need to know why! maybe more to it. but i believe Sonia was live as it would have no bearing on the inconsistencies in the other parts of the noms show.

Yes, I also believe that Sonia was live which means I sort of half/half believe what Goon is saying - he was there but the show wasn't live. Guess that makes sense!
 
To be honest, does it really matter.

I was there, it seemed real. If it wasn't then its news to.

Either way all of you have written it off and don't like it.

This years BB has really messed with the housemates heads massively and you dont like it.

Things have changed and BB has changed, so either get over it and accept BB for what it is or go watch something else.

Night after night I come on here and most are bagging BB.

Well if you don't like it dont watch it.

This site has turned into the biggest negative site on the Internet.

This site use to be exciting and fun to read.

You wonder why I don't release information, that's cause I couldn't be bothered as you will just make an issue about that.

Enjoy the rest of BB. I will.

The problem with you is that you look at everything through rose coloured glasses. Look at the ratings! They speak for themselves. We've all said the casting is good - the editing is not! We don't know what is going on in the house, nor do the majority of the people watching the show!
