Why did tonight’s Big Brother episode make Jane look like she was exaggerating?

Did anyone else notice how the episode tonight made Jane look like she was overreacting during the whole confrontation with the Brevs about disrespect?

In the episode she storms off, then later tells the girls about how Colin reacted. But the show never showed that reaction at all. Yet on the live stream last night, Colin actually reacted in a pretty feral way, so bad that BB muted the stream. It was intense and honestly a bit scary. So Jane was not exaggerating. The footage was there.

Why is Big Brother cutting around that and making it look like she built it up? It feels like they are manipulating the situation to shape the storyline to protect Colin.

i love jane and hope she does not go, she brings so much to the house. My vote is for her.

i didn’t like colin from the start and now don’t like him even more after it’s clear producers are trying to protect him. Bruce has kind of won me over a bit.

What comments such as this forgets/ignores is a fair portion of viewers only watch what is shown on TV. Since they're not watching the stream, they're (for better or worse) none the wiser about what happened on there which didn't make it into the daily shows.

I agree Holly needs to go!! But I think people only get one chance at being HOH. I heard holly saying on the live yesterday I think.
 
Ok my thoughts having just finished it.
Holly is buying friendships again, this time with coffee. Thats how you do it in fashion. Holly knowing more words than Mia, is sad for Mia.

My vote has been swayed by Allana footage. She's unlikable on the daily show. The diary room adds a lot to the story for me.

Vinnie kills it in the diary room. Mia was brave to step in with the boys and Jane there. Colin still looks like a prick to me, but anyone with that haircut does. I'm tending towards saving Jane now, but my vote isnt locked in yet.

The Coco and Bruce love thing would be sucking me in, if I wasnt watching the livestream. I dont think they will, but the will they/wont they is clever tv.
