Holy fucking shit.Yes! Only cos it was raining and people left. Lucky there was a RACQ night
Only for the first 24 hours is what I was toldBut big brother is sponsored by TikTok and the live feed will be on there
Wild that we are less than 24 hours away from not only the first episode but also being able to stream the house...Glad they managed to finish filming and get everything together, I’m sure it would’ve been a great effort.
Can’t wait to see how it plays out tomorrow.
DAVE!!Hey all. This brings back memories…
@Tim I think we used to have Josh and Goon in the audience for us years back?! I noticed old staff member @benj33 was there too
I’m looking forward to tuning in tomorrow night and watching some streams over the next month.
Hope you are well @marquisite
They have promoted that the first 3 days will be on TiktokOnly for the first 24 hours is what I was told
Delete immediately! Never concede.Holy fucking shit.
Rob did some actual reporting.

Great write up! Thanks!I was there tonight, rain hail or shine, I had a great time! Mel did a great job, it's actually refreshing to see someone new with an energetic personality in a presenting role on FTA. Gretel is unmatched but I can only see her getting stronger as she gains more experience in this hosting dynamic. I think Gretel would've said no and so Mel is a smart choice. The weather situation was a mess and tbh they really need to consider their options as it is prime storm season in SEQ, it'll cause havoc with live filming. It is a small stage area but it felt nostalgic and the housemates felt like an OG cast rather than the influencer bullshit we got from 9 & predominantly 7. Real keen to see how they mix! The stage area is super small but this definitely feels like a proof of concept, if it is successful they will pour a lot more into the show. It is very BB01-esque - there are no camera runs. Idk seems like they took inspiration from what the first season looked like with the intention to grow it into what it became in its later seasons. Super hyped and pumped for this, and curious af to see how they'll make the rain delays look like on a camera. I hope they have fun with it, wear it as a badge of honour and see the humour in it.
Which is why he cried like a little baby when I chased him out of hereMcKnight was well-known to be lurking these forums around 2020 (and relaying direct information to his BB podcast at the time), so it's unsurprising. He's very aware how valuable this place is when it comes to Big Brother.
No house tour at all! It will look very different on tv, for obvious reasons but also from a filming standpoint - there was the montage of where it all began but no intro theme was played, no house tour (it has been shared on socials though already, I think due to 10/Paramount hosting their 2026 upfront there so got ahead of the huge amount of leaks), no break outros/intros, etc. so I'm sure it will look hugely different on TV tomorrow with everything added in. Mel could've done a house tour before coming on stage but who knows. The crowd was loud and engaged, you know they were all fans of this show from its original era. Everything seemed right but the rain and can only get better, I really hope it gets a huge amount of support from the general public - this show with an OG vibe is exactly what I want to dissociate into right now.Great write up! Thanks!
All the info we're getting about these HMs tonight sounds positive.
Did they feature a house tour at all?
You've got the right attitude - sounds exciting! No house tour at all! Wow, did you see an eye logo at all? Will it be a human eye, will it be that silly oval Ch9/7 one, won't someone tell me?? hahahano intro theme was played, no house tour (it has been shared on socials though already, I think due to 10/Paramount hosting their 2026 upfront there so got ahead of the huge amount of leaks), no break outros/intros
I'd feel the same. They absolutely need the house tour in the launch show proper with some commentary on it from Mel. And some of us'd like to see the house tour in landscape, not portrait.I'll be disappointed if they don't show off the house within the episode - that's a typical hallmark for BBAU.
