believe it or not, I think the hate threads minimized the slagging matches between posters. They had somewhere to vent their frustrations. Now it's taken out on one another.
That's the thing, posters have all this pent up frustration and anger that in the past would've normally been taken out on the housemates themselves. But now since Tim has decided in his infinite wisdom that that is no longer in line with the values of this board, we have posters turning on each other a much regular basis.
Personally I rather talk shit about housemates that offend my sensibilities; that's the primary reason why I became member in the first place because it is so damn fun.

I'm much more of a 'hater' than a 'lover' of HOUSEMATES, that has and always will be the main attraction to me. But I guess some of the regulars would've cottoned on to that by now.

I am actually agreeing with you, and normally I don't agree with this stuff, but what is the point of a discussion board for hms if it can only be for appreciating hms. way too much PC for my likingThat's the thing, posters have all this pent up frustration and anger that in the past would've normally been taken out on the housemates themselves. @RealLifeDave @PrisusChrist @kyliechilds5 Christianity deserves no respect.

@Reepbot1 @PrisusChrist @kyliechilds5 you're entitled to your opinion but not every opinion needs to be shared on social media.

And @David's beard, I think you should keep your name!. It doesn't matter that David doesn't have a beard anymore. The important thing is he had a beard when he entered big brother and it was an important part of his game. Plus I love the name.

Agreed. It's funny though cause I highly doubt in real life these trolls would be like this, they're probably quiet as a mouse. There's actually something sick and twisted about anyone who needs to go online and start drama to get their daily kicks.I agree, but when you pick up what trolls put down, it's when the problems occur. Trolls get bored very quickly, respond and they love it, they thrive on that. I honestly don't even know how the Ask Priya thread degenerated so quickly because unless I missed something, I saw no attacks on Priya directly, just slanging matches between forum members. No one is going to want to stick around for that, especially not Priya. Some people should learn to type their post, count to twenty, re-read their post, decide it's cool, and only then click Post Reply. You know, sometimes even silence speaks volumes.

I think that everybody is quiet as a mouse in the real world compared to the internet.

Haha tell me about it! I find myself in a lot of arguments on this forum but I don't think I've ever been in a proper one in the real world (save for little tiffs with siblings, partner, etc). I'm shy in real life. Quite as a mouse. People here would probably be shocked.
