Wow, hope your fella is better in the morning @Gemini. A neighbour of ours a few years ago claimed that she put in a new pool with the proceeds of her fall in the frozen food section of a store. Just saying.

Yeah I am. Oh one street? How unlucky. My dad works in the city but he didn't get the day off. Be interesting to see what he says it was like. I haven't been following it at all. After all I spent my time wisely... Voting for David lol

Haha! I’m sure banks are doing a stellar job (and averting real criminal activity), but I would like to one day to receive a phone call that doesn’t result in ‘outing’ perceived dodgy behaviour. :p

I have a reputation to uphold!

(The worst bit was having to talk to them in the presence of company. Eek.)

Wow, that's a lot of money! He was pretty adamant this arvo that he does't want to make any claims though and I respect that decision. I actually worked at Coles for 6-7 years and unfortunately these things just happen sometimes through no fault of anyone really. However if anything else comes of this medical expenses wise he probably will have to go further with it than the original incident report they filled out.

Yeah, I agree that an accident is an accident. I broke my foot in a poorly lit carpark where repair works had not been cordoned off. I blamed my own stupid fault for not taking more care and just sorted myself out. That was more than 10yrs ago and my foot still gives me grief in cold weather, I can't run for long and high heels have not been worn since. In hindsight I should have built a pool.


And, it was probably all David's fault!

Funnily enough your "own stupid fault for not taking more care" is pretty much what he was going with today. He was pretty embrassed about the whole thing to be honest and I think his initial response was just wanting to GTFO of there and not even wanting to consider anything like further claims at that time. I'm definitely going to bring it up with him again though when the initial shock wears off just so I know he's sure and doesn't think he'll end up regretting not putting in that pool either heh :)

That was said as she knew it would be used as a sound bite!!!
He was making a point that she has a certain way of acting that spills over from her work.
Lawyers, Doctors, Nurses, Customer Service Roles and most people who work for a living pick up certain behaviours.
You would be a machine if you didn't.

I think Priya acts like she is a superior being but I think that is mostly because she has a crap personality :)

Am phone free (telstra dispute, can receive calls). My housemates won't let me vote for Dave they still say he is a gronk and I have 'serious issues' - but only now I see what they are doing to him editing wise and how it is not an accurate reflection of character!


Anyways will leave to you guys to vote for Dave and hope he pulls through. Travvy & Ryan voting only in this household!
