David Appreciation Thread

Ok I have now seen today's episode and I have to say the hate I have seen on twitter and Facebook today is so uncalled for. Other than David saying they won't sleep in same room and the task (which ppl need remember was a task not a personal vendetta) there was nothing other than a mutual understanding that they don't get along. Skye did way more bitching about David than he did and she did the lowest of the lows by listening to his diary room conversation. Disgusted bb didn't move them on sooner.
I am now about to reply to every twitter comment where ppl have said David is nasty and ask for proof cause we certainly didn't see it in tonight's episode.

The comments on the FB update about his power play are VILE, and what's worse is that I don't even understand where they've come from. He did absolutely nothing wrong last night and now he has all these people saying he needs to go because he's a nasty bully. What???? Did they watch the same show???? The mind boggles. I can't even imagine how upsetting/frustrating it must be for you as his sisters reading that slander knowing how completely off base it is :(

Twitter/FB are full of nasty people. It makes me extremely angry whenever I read it so I don't go there often to be honest. Last year taught me that. I made multiple comments on facebook to people the other day because I couldn't resist, and vowed I wouldn't go back. It hurts my eyes because they roll so much reading those comments.
There are a lot of positive comments for David too though and my only advice is to try to concentrate on those instead of the ignorant nasty ones. He has a lot of fans who think he's great and want to see him go all the way (especially us in here!!)
I find the 'bully' tag (overused and inappropriately used as it so often is) is totally incongruous with his behaviour. He's allowed not to get along with her. In fact if we're coining that term her trying to make him feel worthless and telling him he doesn't belong there is more akin to this type of behaviour but no way would anyone dream of using it in relation to her. People bitching about each other isn't bullying. Someone completing a task isn't nasty.

All this just makes me vote all the harder for him when the time comes.
 
I had my diplomatic hat on this evening while replying to every twitter comment that had David's hashtag in it and a nasty comment about him. If they said he was nasty I just asked why, if they so he was a bully and rude I pointed out that Skye says to his face that he shouldn't be there and that IMO that's bullying and nasty. If they said he was cocky and arrogant I pointed out that those words could also be used to describe Skye and if they said he thought he ruled the house I pointed out Skye thought she did and in fact it was bb who rules the house!
I don't care if ppl have different opinions to me about David, not everyone understands such a smart person but if you make a comment like he is nasty or a bully then back it up!
To be honest I am not worried, I really think BB is having his own game with David and it's frustrating BB that he can't break David. The producers (or whoever is involved in the audition process) tired to break him during that and it failed and I think they are on a mission now and they will fail miserably.
I haven't seen the whole Chloe audition thing (where is it) - that I am not happy about, that's just bb being an arse cause at the end of the day it was a joke between Sam and Lawson and both are gone so it achieves nothing.
I can assure you all this hate campaign is like water off a ducks back (it does sting a little but it is totally manageable by breathing - hell I gave birth to two kids just breathing so i can breathe thru this hate campaign and there will be something beautiful at the end of it!)
 
Not getting along with someone is not bullying. People these days throw the word around way too much. Kids these days can't even be involved in debates or arguments or disagreements because it's seen as "bullying". We wrap them in cotton wool, tell them they are fantastic, give them everything they want, and shelter them from real life in fear of them being mentally "scarred". And the result of this new world order - Skye.

Get into psychology people, it's going to be the biggest career opportunity going forward with this generation of narcissistic, sheltered children all getting real world shocks when they don't get into uni, or get a job on cue, or find that perfect boyfriend/girlfriend, or get fired......or get booted from Big Brother. :wink:
 
What do you guys think about the david/Ryan relationship?
I was a bit concerned that he made a bit of a fuss about saving Ryan
I know he said he would love to be in the finale with Ryan but if only he knew the popularity of Ryan .

Ryan is a threat to everyone in the game right now and needs to go IMO

I kind of see the David/Ryan relationship like the Greg Logan/Tim relationship of BB05 Australia.
 
Anyhow, enough of that seriousness. Good morning, Team David! :kiss:

Big Brother blessed us with a David heavy episode last night so there was a lot more than usual to capture.

What's even better is that we can just sit back and enjoy this week, because we don't have to vote. Hoorah! Save those voting credits for when we need it though, don't falter and be tempted to save those others. Because, it's a trap! :laugh:

At this point I think that Ryan is someone he can talk to and it keeps him sane in there and he wouldn't mind him going to the end with him. To say that David is 'all' strategy all the time is wrong. Like Priya, he's very aware of what is going on but he still needs that human interaction. In the end, if people like David they will vote for him no matter who he's up against.

How sad are they.

I bet they have done the same thing to others & wanted them 'act' how they want them to be seen.
