David Appreciation Thread

Whilst there are some negative comments for Dave there are ALOT of support for him too and happy to see alot of people reminding others this was just for a task. Yet on posts about Skye there seems to be an overwhelming amount of hate posts about her. Its quite remarkable how her popularity is sliding.. yet she she still seems to gather quite a few votes. I guess we'll see where she sits if shes nominated this week (and if we actually get to see %).

Via the Daily Show Thread seems its a big Dave Skye episode. Eek. Im kind of nervous about it.

Haters are gonna hate. I'd love a Skye vs. David final.

Regardless, if Skye is in the final two and loses there will be princess tears and Toddlers & Tiaras type tantrum. I can't see her accepting defeat graciously at all.

Skye knows David is one of her major threats now and she's gunning for him - cute.

Sorry babe, will keep that in mind. Figured most people wouldn't have Tumblr and thought that their reactions were the most amusing, and absurd, all at the same time.

One can only hope that if it is a finale with Skye and David that people vote en masse to see the reaction Skye won't be able to contain upon losing. Oh gosh, it would be glorious.

haha last night I noticed a couple of David fans had added that 'I'm not here to put stickers on apples' quote to their new profile posts. So I added it to mine for a joke...so there was 3 out of 5 showing on the forum page with that quote (maybe others will do the same hehe?)

going by tonights spoiler, there is heaps of David vs Skye footage

Tonight on Big Brother Skye and David declare open war. In the past they have failed to see eye to eye but now their hostile feelings are out in the open and the rest of the housemates will be forced to take sides.

As Head of House, David uses his Deadly Dozen Power Play to manipulate nominations; does he get what he’s after?

The David and Ryan “bromance” continues, bonding over their persistent irritation with Skye. David talks to Big Brother about it, but unbeknown to him Skye and Richard can hear everything he saying, sitting at the bottom of the Diary Room stairs. Skye hears David talking about her and becomes enraged.

The Big Brother How To task continues. Tom and Travis fail their task of cake decorating. Penny and Richard educate the House on how to be a reptile handler, using a live snake. And David teaches the Housemates how to decommission an old appliance – by taking a sledgehammer to a DVD player which is playing a message from Skye’s mum and sister.

I saw that clip on Facebook this morning and I immediately thought "here we go, a reason for Skye to nom and hate David even more cause she won't be smart enough to realise it's a task and not some vendetta against her"

If the comment about the diary room is true then I will be well pissed off.

Freeze task - quick better check my email to see if they want me and my girls to fly over!!!! Just a heads up - David and his best mate Lisa spoke about this challenge and David ain't moving for no one! Lisa asked him what if it was his nieces and he ummed and arrhed but then decided it would never happen (BB if you are reading this - let's make it happen!)

At least I saw that David gets to use his deadly dozen so let's hope we get a week off. With 4 going thou there needs to be at least 7 up so I hope David can save himself!

Facebook have finally reactive yes my card so should we need to vote I am primed and ready to go.

If David was not to react to Skye that would piss her off even more (that's what I would do) so here's hoping he doesn't get drawn into it too much. Let her actions be her own undoing!

Thanks Mel for popping in and sharing stuff with us David 'groupies'. It feels good to have a family member drop by.

Bring it on I say! I really hope David just rises above it. I just see it as a positive and I think David will too, he knows this means Skye thinks he is a big threat. I laugh thou that Lawson said Ryan was on track to win but Skye can't seem to remember that far back so she has her targets set on David yet Ryan could side swipe her at any time.
The whole rest of the house V David at the start of the series really was hard but I have seen how well my brother came out of that one seemingly unscathed so I am more confident now (and sod it I don't think I have any more tears to cry anyway) and I am not fazed by this little drama.
(Hands and wrists are strapped and boxing gloves being put on as I type!)
(Eye of the tiger pumping loudly!!! Sing it with me.... It's the eye of the tiger it's the thrill of the fight, rising up to the challenge of our rivals)
