David Appreciation Thread

Hopefully he is first to leave then

Hopefully he was put in there to challenge Dave and Priya, not to replace them.

And yep, all the newbies can leave now as far as I'm concerned.

Although I would like to see this happen first lol:

HAHAHAHAHA Maybe with enough alcohol in your system and some flashing disco ball going off in the background, you can trick yourself into the belief you saw this happen :hilarious:

I'm hoping it's Ryan as HOH and not Aisha because Ryan's never nominated David and probably won't use his superpower to put David up like Skye and Priya did, and Aisha would most likely target David as well!
If Ryan is HOH, I hope David is one of the HM's that he chose to take to The Treehouse to talk nominations. Maybe he would take Leo into the Sanctuary Suite because he hasn't stayed in there overnight?
I wonder why we didn't get to see Priya in The Treehouse talking to Marina and Jason about nominations? I wanted to see her thoughts on playing the game etc...

I have a feeling Skye or Travis will have the most saved votes...they both just had a week off from being up for eviction
Cat will get Clawson votes
Travis will get Trasha votes
Priya and Leo might get some votes from Skye fans, so hopefully Ryan's fans might throw a few David's way this week, since they seem closer atm..
It's also the first week up for Leo and Marina, and some people are voting for Marina to try get rid of Cat.

Tom volunteers at the Sydney Children’s Hospital in their weekend play program..so maybe him and David will have something in common with both working in healthcare?
Richard's business partner and friend has contacts with the footy world, which might impress Travis?

From what I've read so far about the 4 newbies, I'm liking Tom and Lina the best..

I'm obviously not going to read 138 pages of this "David appreciation thread" but why does everyone love him?
His still the douche we saw in the first 2 weeks of big brother

well I guess David's fans from the very beginning, saw the side where he wasn't being a douche, just trying to find his place in the house with some housemates misunderstanding what he'd said or meant, and twisting it to suit but he started to redeem himself to the HM's and viewers, by asking what he could do better to not upset anyone etc. Of course shaving his beard, also made a lot of viewers see he was actually a handsome guy with a great smile.
We also saw a caring side when Sandra for gave up on the The Ultimate Pair $30k challenge or sneaking her a chocolate from the Sanctuary, and when he was being upset that Sandra was crying to others over some comment she took to heart...

But along the way David's fan-base is growing, as viewers realised they misjudged him at the start, see him as a voice of reason and being honest, or are enjoying Strategy David's game-play with throwing around those Truth Bombs etc

If you think he was a douche in the first two weeks then you have no hope of ever understanding. He was the subject of a vendetta by a person desperate for attention. He rose above that shit, and continues to climb. His end goal: himself. No pretense, no lies, the truth shall set you free and win you the game.

He never was a douche though.
He keeps it real, he's honest, loyal, smart.
He's blunt more than always saying the considered response which I appreciate.
He's not afraid to go against popular opinion.
He's not some smooth, fake persona. He's someone who learns from mistakes but isn't afraid to make them.
There's lots more but I guess if you haven't opened your mind to the kind of guy he is by now I can only give you my sympathy xoxo
