David Appreciation Thread

Yes, in theory you should keep the ones who have no chance of winning, to boost your chance of winning. However, for me, some things trump that. I would vote for Lawson and Cat because they disgust me and I wouldn't want to share my time with them.
And, this year is ridiculous anyway, so strategy doesn't really matter. The HOH's power has been pretty much a waste of time. People are getting money, left and right, and I expect that to continue. So, the final prize money means less and less. Because there is no rhyme or reason, to the season, other than the network wanting it to end ASAP, I'd just nominate who I don't want to live with. And, if I'm morally opposed to something, that person is going up, no question about it. In fact, nominating someone for questionable behavior, could very well ingratiate you to the public.

I'm hoping this 'friendship' with Ryan will work out because in the past Ryan has made snarky comments behind David's back and tried to bait him but maybe they have moved on from that, and Ryan respects David now?
David and Ryan have never nominated each other, and also Leo (and Marina) haven't nominated David yet.

I'm really glad that David was fine with Sandra being evicted because she wanted to leave.... although I'm sure he's really going to miss her company at times.

David gets along with Travis too, so it will be interesting with where this all goes. Dave seemed genuinely happy to see Travis back and Travis seemed to like David giving truth bombs to everyone at dinner, yelling DAAAAVOO! As if backing him and reassuring David that he was enjoying it. Tbh, from the get-go these two seemed to be good friends

Yeah see this is the thing, Ryan has made snarky comments about a lot of the hms but can still be friends with all of them, which leads me to believe his snarky comments don't hold enough acid to be considered snarky, it could just be smartass Ryan instead, because as you said he has never nommed David and there is no reason to make me believe that these two have a dislike to one another. Maybe they were not as close until now, but there was no direct dislike to one another is what I mean.

He is going to miss Sandra because I think he feels that even though they have had their ups and downs, like a sister she was not afraid to just talk to him about things and be direct with him even if it did come across as her pointing his flaws. They just were comfortable with one another and I think he will miss that with someone

Ryan is running out of guy friends now and friends in general. Lawson is all loved up with Cat, Travis is all loved up with Aisha which only leaves Leo and David.

I'm pretty happy with my achievements. I'm not usually a pokies gal, but when in Rome lol. No one else was happy, well ok they were happy, but apparently they were annoyed that I wasn't hitting in the dollars or something. I was playing at 20 or 25c, I cant remember now.

$5 On david? You guys better put my head on a chopping board if I did that lol
 
Hands up if you aged about 50 years watching that! Eppp!

I've only just finished watching it (I'm never home on a Wednesday evening) but I have some spies telling me what's happening. When I found out it was Jason I was overcome with relief. I keep saying week after week 'I just want him to survive one more week'. I'm getting far too greedy!

Tonight was my fav episode. I loved the concert and I loved the auditions they did for understudy.
Of course loved seeing Mumma Jugs on TV. She was nervous - or maybe that was the wines from the Green Room!

I love this thread and I love the thought and energy and effort that goes into all the commentary. David will honestly be blown away to think there is a little team of David supporters rooting for him. And here I was thinking I was single handily going to build support for him from a facebook page. You guys are the real deal!

It's crazy to think we all have lives outside of this and our world keeps turning with or without BigBrother but I love that everyone feels they can come here and bond over that one thing we all have in common. I laugh so hard at some of the comments. @David's beard you get me every time :)
I don't mean to single any one in particular out. I have love for all of you. Even the haters that occasionally throw a compliment or a nice observation David's way.

With the success of the Housemates own Hot Seat extravaganza bringing out secrets and stories, Big Brother brought a select few into the Diary Room for his own version. Priya, Jason and David went in solo, while Travis and Aisha joined forces to weather the Big Brother storm.

I am at work when the shows air so I rely on twitter to update me. I was physically shaking when they announced Travis and Aisha were not taking the money (even thou I knew they wouldn't take it).
The relief when I saw Jason was gone was enough to almost make me cry (and shake even more!)
Well done all on keeping him in and hopefully he gets a week off as I am hoping clawson, marina and Leo are up this week. Even Aisha being up would be good - make her wonder if she should have taken the money or not!
I hear my mum was on the show - Yeah! Hope everyone understood her as even thou I don't hear her accent apparently it came across quite strong.
On my way home from work now so will hopefully watch it shortly.

Yay! That was intense...nearly chewed my fingers off. First, David's Mum was lovely...beautiful Irish accent too. Second, David looked especially handsome tonight...in the kitchen scene when they were having the fake understudy audition. Third, I am relieved that he had the second top save votes. And last, I am glad it was Jason that went. Priya is more interesting of the two...besides, Jason lost my support when he made that snide remark about leaving David stuck in the flying harness til dinner. Plus he kept nominating our guy. Me no likey...

Another one got slayed,
This time was very close.
The game is being played,

Hope he's next to get the power,
So he can go into the sank...

His honest humor comes with cheek,
While other's strategies stay hid.
