Did anyone here notice that Dave was the only one not to receive cheers? He noticed too
And given that Jake seemingly had the loudest cheers - then whoops, he's gone!
It's hard to watch but Super David is slowly growing an armour of steel in that house.

Honestly I think the producers that control the live crowds told them not to - not hurt David but to make the other housemates think that he was a sure thing to go. Then when one of the 'cool' group goes, its a bigger shock and we get more bitching tomorrow about how could Dave stayed over Jake?, they have stuff to fill the daily show and get more people voting.

Yes, I hope I get a $5,000 appliance voucher out of all this effort!
I'm hoping this is the case...like last year when it came out that they'd told the crowd to cheer for everyone up for eviction except Jade so everything thought she was going instead of Ed.
Either way given Jake got huge cheers tonight I'm gonna take that as a sign that the crowd response isn't a representation of the voting public.

I think it shows good character personally. What would he have to gain from holding a grudge and dragging out the negativity?

it's possible that some of the crowd think Jake is from Brisbane/Qld since that's what BB promoted during the launch show, plus maybe some of Jake's friends were attending tonight?

Sunday night I was feeling like poo after watching that footage but feel much better today. Birthday vibes paid off!
@BigSisterEm, Jake said that David felt at peace if he was to leave, that will not be happening (well I hope not) anytime soon. But the fact he feels this way means he thinks he is not being received well by the public which makes me sad, so please be sure to show him this thread
