David Appreciation Thread

Graaag, why couldn't Lawson or Cat be up for eviction so it wouldn't be as nervewracking to determine the second evictee :( (If there is actually a double eviction). As long as David pulls through that's good enough for me. :)
 
I think David will be aware of his commitments to social media once out of the house - I'll be his personal coach if need be but yeah, prior to going in it wasn't his pastime of choice.
If he was ever to visit a forum it would have been in relation to English Premier League.
He's never had a twitter account and the content on his f/b page and instagram account was, in a word, lame. haha. He'd probably kill me for saying that!

But yeah, they'll be no need to follow him on SM just yet as he's totally going to be safe this week right? Don't get complacent David lovers!
 
watching the tv ad for tomorrows show, I'm expecting Jason to get a surge of save votes. writing letters home or something, and him crying over his parents, maybe about how hard it was to come out etc... when Jason first told the HM's his coming out story, his brother posted on facebook that Jason was loved by his family but it was deleted by BB mods...

Anyway hopefully BB will give David a positive edit and airtime this week as well, and that Sandra and Ryan are evicted
 
OK, I'm thinking more rationally now. Anyone else thinking Dave might want to throw the Strategy Dave t-shirt over the wall and maybe chill on that? Because his nominations tonight kinda sucked, to be honest. He's overthinking things. He nominated Jason and Leo. One nomination effectively put a strong player up against him, and the other was a waste. He wrongly assumed Leo would be up. Did he forget about Skye's power play? A Skye, Leo, or Aisha vote tonight effectively was void. So you would want to target Ryan, Lawson, Cat, and Sandra, and he didn't do any of that.

Right after he voted, I said he completely blew his votes, especially on Jason. Jason't not going anywhere. He was by no means being strategic. His votes were as silly as most of the housemates.

I did see your comment and I agree the Jason vote is wasted, but it is hard to know how to vote too, you can never be sure what the public will do (Like getting rid of sam when Lawson was up there)

Priya's only been up twice. The first time she got 40% of the vote once Cat was saved. Last night she got the third highest save % out of 6.

David and Priya are hopefully both going to be fine this week and ideally it's just a single. Too many others who need to go before they do.
 
Ummmm, let's have a hypothetical here for a moment. If the HMs were to vote for Cat and Lawson, what reasons could they give?
I mean BB is pretty lax with the rules this year but voting for them because they went into the sanctuary together?
There just didn't seem to be enough reasoning for voting for them.
Imagine a housemate in the DR:
Big brother I'm voting for Lawson because he is an emotional cheater.
Or....
Big Brother I'm voting for Cat because she has feelings for Lawson and thus is a homewrecker.
If BB could, he'd snort like Ben '13 does.
Unfortunately Dave got the brunt of it tonight because of the power play....

This is exactly what's happened to me now. I'm choosing to save Priya this week because David's had a week off so hopefully people have more $ to spend on him and very far down the ladder because of his comment about Leo's accent again. But this is the absolute worst spot for Priya and David fans to be in, especially with Jason in there. They're going to be pulling votes from each other. I'm just thanking the BB gods that Skye didn't screw up and somehow stick Leo in there too or else I'd be f'd.

Everyone needs to vote though. Even if it's only two votes. If you want David to stay, now is when it's time to do it.
 
Did the HM's not hear the boo's for Lawson when Sam was evicted? I'm surprised that Lawson wasn't targeted.
David and Sandra are still sharing a bed (unless she's now moved into Sam's spot), and I can't see David ever nominating Sandra atm
At least the HM's weren't targeting or hating on him, and it was mainly Skye's silly power play putting him up.
I wonder how Ryan and Priya will behave towards Skye after hearing her nominating them, also Sandra doesn't really like Skye, and she nominated Sam....


<---I actually find Leo's accent a loud drawl at times, although I'm getting used to it but then I have kiwi accent, so get comments at times:p

I'm a bit worried Ryan is more popular than we realize. I occasionally pop into the BBAU tag on tumblr and all those people love Ryan and hated David for a long time because he "objectified Lisa." They all think Ryan is a total babe :(

I always thought that Leo would be safe with Skye having the power, so I'm glad for your bank accounts sake, that he is safe!

This is by far the worst outcome for us fans, but I agree with @melaniee-jane, if it is a double, Ryan could be safe. There are too many people calling him a babe, and Estelle is his cheerleader :(

Any news whether it is a double btw?
