David Appreciation Thread

P.s. @Mrs Butterface , I saw something once about a woman that had been born without an arsehole...in fact her whole rectum was gone. They had to insert a tube at the end of her colon that went through her abdomen (with a bag that clipped on and off) to get rid of her :poop:

That is what happened with the baby of someone I know. Everything was there except the anus. He had surgery to create one. Until the surgery he had a little colostomy bag.

People are saying he (and Sandra) is detaching himself from the group, but fact of the matter is they had already isolated him from day dot. It also came out last night (although I'd been getting that vibe for a while) that Priya has been increasing the divide in the house. She kinda lost me a bit last night with that because while I'd been thinking she's a lone wolf it's actually the opposite. If there's a lone wolf in the house it's David - however as much as I dislike Sandra I did appreciate her words about him last night. They were very kind and on point.

I agree with everything you said. I suspected that Priya was doing the exact thing she accused Leo of doing...getting close to Skye because of her popularity outside othe house. David was spot on...that she is the most strategic player. Everyone is saying that David needs to calm down with the strategy...when I think it is Priya that should. She is very popular, herself, and doesn't need to latch onto others that she thinks are. I think she is playing too hard with this whole divide business and it could bite her in the butt.

As for Sandra, she can take her kinds words to David with her out the door this week. I hate that people are lumping them together when they are nothing alike. When the house shut out David, Sandra joined the bandwagon and has never truly been supportive. How funny it is that she finally scrapes up some nice words for him...when the situation has been reversed. She now feels on the outside...while he stays loyally by her side...giving her his full support. She was never loyal to him...while he has always been. How ironic, that she was worried that he was tainting people's opinions of herself when they were partners...when it's actually the opposite and he isn't stuck with her. He could be avoiding her at all costs right now...but he isn't like her. His game will be so much better when she is gone. I hope he survives this week so we can see that happen. VOTE TO SAVID SLAYVID!

Also, I thought it was funny when Sandra seemed annoyed that Skye didn't get enough coffee. After her choosing coffee over the make-up...and having a tantrum about Skye in the DR...I was yelling at the screen for Skye to not get any coffee this week. Sandra is lucky she got any at all. I would have taken the amount she wanted spent on coffee and spend it on chocolate...just to piss her off.

Aww...poor thing. As hard as that must have been for the parents, I would think that kind of surgery would be one of the least invasive. No disrespect intended...I just meant that if my baby HAD to be born missing something that needed surgery...that would probably be one of the easiest to fix. Not to mention...the best place to have a surgery scar. Who's going to notice one there?

Strategy Dave's little speech is a sure way to go about endearing himself to the other hms and getting plenty of nom points in return as a thank you gesture. Good luck with that 'strategy' Dave. :hilarious: :thumbsup:

FWIW Strategy Dave is always good for some 'awkward' comedic value, I like that about him which is more than I can say for the some of the others. :biggrin: ;)

I don't get why people thinking David saying who are playing the game the hardest was this big bad thing. I think it was a very smart move. In a house where you only have time you stew on things people have said, lets see if the others are smart enough to pick up what he is putting down.

What he said about Priya was dead on the money, she is suddenly best friends with Skye as soon as she had the power - so be pointing that out inside the house might put doubt in Skye, Cat (who have both had the power) and Aisha's mind about her 'friendship' with them. And on the outside world - Skye's minions that might be voting for Priya because of how nice she is to Skye might think twice about doing so. So disappointing in the type of player Priya has been. Thought she would be outspoken and strong but really is just being fake and frickle.

And as for Jason, seriously the guy has no spine. Goes on about how he is so disapproving of Lawson and Cat, had the perfect time to say something to their face but didn't because having an opinion or stance on something in this house draws noms points. Spineless. Totally proved tonight what David said again so on the money.

He wasn't only doing it to get a reaction out of the housemates, he was doing so the public would start over analysing everything they do. He has probably figured out on some level that outside the house he is not been seen the way the housemates are seeing him, if he has been talking strat the whole time, he might be thinking 'well its worked to get me votes so far - I'm going to step it up.' He has resigned that fact he wont win but he isn't going to make it easy for people like Priya and Jason to cruise their way in by not showing any character.

This happens too when people have colon cancer that requires surgery. They end up having colostomy bags.

Just wondering WHY this particular line of thought is on the Dave Appreciation thread...or...don't I want to know why..lol
