Housemate Conor discussion

Didn’t he threaten to throw a chair?

Can someone back me up here? Happy to be corrected

It's was in a context of if Michael wants the show to be MAFS he'll throw a chair.

It's a bit over blown. Conner did lose it.

I really don't know how to form my opinion on him. He can't help saying and doing things.Where that may excuse issues or not. I don't know but the comment to me seemed to be more illustrative of this shouldn't be a hostile environment of a reality show. His reaction seemed over the top but he can't help that.

He seemed fully in control of his words and his temper and made no attempt at controlling it. He’s an awful person!

Has Connor done anything except cook and pontificate?
Yeah I've been trying to think back to every other bb series and I just cannot picture a housemate who seemed like a permanent live in chef like him before.

I feel like he won't ever get any nominations points because if he did get evicted theyll have to get another chef and I'm not sure anyone else wants to make the kitchen their home base.

I think in most cases he has a valid reason for being upset, but his reaction does seem to be a little out of proportion in my opinion.
People intentionally pushing buttons or being incredibly selfish at the detriment of everyone else is shit and they deserved to be called out for it, and yeah he could do it in a bit of a better way - but hey, they could also not be so shit in the first place.

I was at a wedding yesterday and BB came up at the table. Surprisingly all but one of us is watching it. One of the people made a really good point that Conor doesn't ever talk from the perspective of "I feel" or "I think". He always talks in objective statements. He's a know it all.

But when you're right, you're right.

Yep. I would NOT get along with him IRL.

His comments on tonight's daily really turned me off, especially how candid he was about assuming he’d make the final. He’s clearly studied the show before coming into the house and has openly talked about previous seasons. He seems to think he’ll tug at people’s heartstrings by presenting himself as an underdog while also trying to position himself as someone who isn’t afraid to stand up to others, which most of the time comes across as condescending.

He's doing all the cooking for a large household. That takes up much of his time. He's not in the fart crew. He's to my mind the most intelligent or intellectual person in the house, which is a detriment in the last many years' seasons of this show. He's built up resentments (while cooking!) and is quite caustic. I don't mind him. It was quite arrogant to say what he said about seeing himself at the end. But then we have someone like Vinnie - or Holly or Colin - or even Coco - who quite clearly are playing up to the cameras and audience and looking confident in feeling they are final game, too.

This. Previous deletions have shown we're not allowed to talk too much about certain things but it doesn't hurt that he has Tourette's. Although I haven't heard much snorting lately.

Vinnie is similar in some ways in his studying of the show, and talks about public perception a lot. He clearly has a game plan but probably should be more subtle about it. Maybe it’s only obvious to live stream regulars though. They talk about that they both think they’ll be at the end. He’s probably a lot less annoying than Conor though and more likely to sit on the fence.
