If you go on his FB fan page and read the comments his workmates have made,they say he used to do skits and stuff like that and make them laugh,someone like that does not act like he does in the house

I checked out the page...
Someone telling him he should get back into stand up... Don't know how legit it is
but my first impression of him was that he was some kind of comedian

I believe that,one of the comments from a workmate was that he used to perform phantom of the opera with the curtain..he has shown funny sides to him and when he did the stand-up on the show..he was quick on his feet and hilarious...why he didnt go with that side of him on the show is beyond me
 
Remember the Irish dancing he did in the diary room he did it perfectly then when they did on the stage he stumbled and fell over the signs etc just like a comedian would do.
Lots of things havent added up since the beginning with Ben. Seems that its working though.
 
How would Bert & Patti feel if he was a comic and played them / hm maybe they know. Bert told him he will definately get TV work.
Not on my TV Ben.

Maybe channel 9 encouraged this side of Ben we are seeing on the show ---- Bert Newton ---- the photos of his Mum and Nana they choose to show. etc wouldnt surprise me in the least!
 
Pattie did say Ben was her favourite 'character'. Maybe they're on to him. lol

In any event this is brilliant work from a wannabe performer. To think this performance will net him a cool quarter of a million dollars, not bad for 3 months of amateur work. Not that I want him to win mind you but sadly he is getting a log of help from the 9 producers who are using his adorkable schtick to draw the lucrative family demographic.

I think it was the same photo, they were saying how hilarious he was when he would do the 'Harry high pants' etc

The Ben we are seeing IS a Harry high pants personality...

But there's the major contradiction with Ben.

Oh he's some strange outsider. Yet he is the favorite to win this popularity contest. His very support completely undermines his entire character on the show.

This is how the persona works.

People feel so sorry for him, think he's such an outsider they do whatever they can. However the very fact people act and think like that, shows that the persona is BULLSHIT!
 
I looked through all the pictures on that facebook page and felt totally sick.

1 - it seems as though Ben has really developed a personality for the show
and
2 - How can people not see what a total player/fake/phony Ben is?

I only really like 2 or so people in the house at the moment - Tim being one of them. I think Tim will come second to Ben and I hate that. If Tim goes earlier, I'll stop watching. I'm just so over Ben.

I really really hope so :( I'm getting really down about it which is completely stupid. I don't know why. I invest so much energy and emotions into the shows I watch ;)

If Tim is in the final I will be sending a number of votes his way.
