Controversial Big Brother contestant Lawson Reeves says he has no intention of staying in Perth now he and mistress Cat Law are out of the house.
The WA magician made headlines when he hooked up with the midwife, who is eight years his senior, in the Gold Coast compound despite having a long-term girlfriend back home in Perth.
Though he was evicted on Monday, Reeves did not have long to contemplate life after the show as Law was also sent packing the following evening and the two were reunited on stage by host Sonia Kruger.
Speaking to AAA, the 23-year-old apprentice electrician said he would return to Perth next week but would not hang around long - he is planning to relocate to Law's home town of Melbourne in the hope of becoming an actor.
"I still want to give that a shot and just get out of Perth because it is such a small place," Reeves said. "I just want to start afresh."
Reeves said he still had not spoken to his girlfriend of five years, student Candice Reeder, but he knew for a fact they would not get back together after his infidelity.
"I don't think we could really repair what we had," he admitted. "If we did, I couldn't look her family in the eyes. Even just walking down the street, my face is one that is now known so people would be looking at us, judging her and thinking she is an idiot for staying with a goose."
Reeves added he was filled with remorse over his actions and Reeder was on his mind while he was hooking up with 31-year-old Law.
"I thought about her all the time and it's what I struggled with most in the house," he said.
"I never intended in a million years to find myself having feelings for someone in the house but it just went that way.
"I didn't have control over it but I know I am completely in the wrong. I have to live with the fact that I have broken someone's heart who I really cared about."
Despite his guilt, Reeves is excited to move forward with Law and explore their future together, with a romantic getaway to Bali possibly on the horizon.
"I am excited to give (a relationship) a crack," Reeves said.
"We just have to be there for each other because we are both about to go through a really tough time and no one else is going to understand it better than the other person."
