Clawson

What annoys me the most about these heart-to-hearts...is that Lawson continually asks Cat what she wants or wants to do...then steers it to what he wants without proclaiming it. It's like he thinks he won't be held accountable for anything if it wasn't "his idea". He also did this when they were deciding if they should play the bathtub tape to the house. He shot that idea down real quick...but phrased it in a way to make Cat take credit for the decision.

It's not like she ever offers an alternative, though. She never states what she wants. She flirts around subjects then says she doesn't know what to do, so of course he is going to express his opinion. Imagine if they were both indecisive. God it would be awful to watch.

I don't blame him for shooting down the idea of playing the footage. Regardless of how he worded it, it was always Cat's decision because she was the one with the power. He probably felt pretty vulnerable at that moment considering the fact it really was not up to him. She could have just made the decision for both of them and kept him blissfully ignorant - it was pretty obvious neither would want the house seeing that footage - but she doesn't seem to be able to make a decision on her own.

Lawson is a massive douchebag but something about Cat also rubs me the wrong way. And no, it's not the whole, she's a woman therefore she's a skanky homewrecker thing, hiss hiss etc ;P
I just think she is disingenuous. Putting the stops on the relationship now is absolutely ridiculous not to mention pointless. As others have said it's too little too late so I do think people are right in saying she was hoping he would be all in and she wouldn't have to worry anymore. I think the only reason she's so stressed is because she senses that Lawson isn't fully onboard with the situation so it kinda makes her come off as the relentless pursuer. If anyone is trying to manipulate the other person, it's her, trying to coax Lawson into making the decision SHE wants... to make her feel better about her part in the whole sordid saga. I get the impression she thinks if Lawson says "yes I totes love you, let's do this thing" it would be a massive weight off and she would literally not give a flying fuck about Candice. I think she only really cares about the gf factor now is because of how it reflects upon her, because of other peoples' perceptions and because it clearly is affecting Lawson - which affects her. I honestly think she sees the gf factor as a drag, it's the only thing stopping her from being able to properly pursue this guy she is attracted to and the fact she can respect her ex enough not to discuss their relationship because he isn't there to defend himself yet she won't offer Candice even a modicum of the same respect screams to me that she doesn't give a shit. Tbh she doesn't even afford Lawson any respect. Flirting aside, he did tell her it couldn't happen ages ago. If she was a decent person and respected him, she would have drawn a line too. She wants what she wants. Basically I think she's incredibly selfish... like most of the housemates this year.

Lawson looks like a trapped animal whenever they have those one on one conversations. His face goes red, his eyes betray him. Last ep looked like he was thinking, "why the fuck do you want to get off the ride now?!" and the reaction to the love comment was pretty telling.
Not to trivialise his part in the whole thing because obviously he's the one with a girlfriend and he's a total fuckwit who has also expressed feelings for Cat, but I think he's incredibly weak willed for all his arrogant blustering. I think one of the main reasons he hasn't put a stop to the whole thing is because he is worried about hurting Cat's feelings. Cat is in front of him 24/7. It's hard to hurt someone fullstop let alone when they are in your face all day and you have to look them in the eyes when you do it... repeatedly.
That or he's just a dickhead. Regardless, he should have seriously nipped it in the bud before it got to the point of no return and the Sanctuary should never have happened.

They are a pair of arseholes. Their motivations may be different but they are both massive arseholes.

IMPRESSIVE - good logic but don't know about arseholes!!??!! They are people on telly and its all getting a bit much for them. Imagine being confined like that. Whoa it would be so hard. Not excusing their behaviour by any means but it must just be so crazy in there. No friends or family to ask for advice (only ppl playing a game that probably want to see you crack.... its good for them. To not have one person you could fully trust, I can see why they are grabbing on to each other. CRAZY

Oh geezus, I wish you could see how much I'm laughing. I have to take a breath hahaHAHAHAH

I said it before and I'll say it again- I like your version of trolling hahaHAAHHA

I wasn't trolling. I just didn't notice it because I was too busy being distracted by posting on this forum to properly see everything of that Cat and Lawson conversation on the hamster wheel.

Behaving like arseholes then? ;)
I'm pretty unforgiving when it comes to the behaviour they are exhibiting, though. I think it's incredibly shitty.

Jake certainly seemed to know what had gone on, I think Lawson might have confided in him before he left the house.

There's one part that confuses me. Cat says "Like I'm having these moments that I really love with you and where I feel like so happy about...". Then Lawson interrupts and says "Wait, wait.." then he splutters. The Cat interrupts him and says to him "I'm having these moments where I enjoy with you.". Lawson says "Yeah.". Cat says "Yeah.". Lawson says "Yeah.". Then Cat says "But then I feel guilty and like a shit person for having those shit moments.".

What did Lawson think Cat was going to say? Surely he knew what she was talking about in regards to how she feels about spending time with him?

Maybe for a second he wasn't quite listening close enough and thought he misheard? He might have thought she said:
"Like I'm having these moments that I really love you and where I feel like so happy about..."

He definitely sparked up and paid attention after that bit.

PS: I agree with @delcan, reepbot you definitely need an avatar by now.

Got an avatar.

In the diary room he said that he was dreading having the conversation with Cat. Although he was lying when he said that he didn't know what his feelings for Cat were, so he could have been lying about that as well.

I just thought maybe that Lawson is really insecure. That maybe he thought that Cat was playing him? Sam mentioned in one of his interviews that Lawson was bullied at school.

Either way Lawson didn't say what Cat wanted to hear.

So sick of CLAWSON.

Ugh! Boring viewing. "We can't be friends anymore" "yes we can" " we can't be friends anymore" :meh: . I am sick of watching this so-called controversial "love affair".

I wish Lawson was evicted on Tuesday. We are going to have to put up with this for at least another 2 weeks. :arghh:

I feel that Clawson still has a long way to go before that storyline is finished.

They should just get together already. Clearly Lawson has no respect for his girlfriend anyway. They so want to be together but think they can fool us and the other HMs that nothing has "happened". The damage has been done already.

Storyline over. Lawson evicted. Cat evicted. :)

From the post-eviction interviews from Sam and Lisa it does seem that Cat and Lawson have fooled the other housemates.

I just want Cat to be head of house again just to see if Cat and Lawson make fools of themselves again or if they learnt their lesson.

He might as well just break up with his girlfriend on live tv, because he and Cat were made for each other with all their indecisive bullshit.
