It's also possible that I have completely misinterpreted what I saw and there was some other type of head/body movements happening. But if my current evaluation is correct then yes, it would not have been possible for Cat to kiss Lawson on the lips or anywhere near his face.

So what are the reasons for retreating underneath the blankets in the first place? There haven't been any subarctic freak weather conditions in South-East Queensland over the past few days.

If you watch the footage Cat lifts the blankets. If you are drunk and nearly passed out (as I suspect Lawson was at that point) you aren't going to do anything when blankets are put up.

Drunk or nearly passed out? Lawson seemed quite athletic when making his way from the couch to the bed during his 0.5 second decision-making process about where to sleep, and he wasn't incapacitated when recreating "Dirty Dancing" with Cat five minutes before in the pool. He was also enthusiastic about participating in a highly technical and no doubt gymnastic game of Twister, which may or may not have occurred. So I'm not sure how drunk or passed out he was - seemed to be reasonably capable and the accompanying soundtrack under the blankets wasn't snoring.

i concur!!!

The Drully saga last year was one thing, but Drew didn't respect Tully and Tahlia's relationship enough because he isn't a girl, and therefore does not know about girl code.

Cat should know and respect girl code. She should know how fucked up it would be to watch your partner on tv with another girl and should never even go there or put Lawson in that position.

(Lawson is still very much to blame but he is also very young)

Wait, so you're saying that going from the couch to the bed when seemingly not incapacitated was a stinking lie?! That they got up again and were plied with more drinks before they finally cut to the under the covers scene? I see.
 
With Lawson though, hes been with this same girl for 5 years and she wants marriage. When does he get to sow his wild oats like all young men? Is he from a small town in Perth? She sounds like she could be a Christian too. I know people who I thought were going to get married and be together forever split up, it hit me for six more than them, no one knows whats going on in other people's relationships. But that being said I still think something dodgy was going on with the footage shown.

No I'm not saying that but I don't know if you've ever been drunk? But you feel fine standing up until you lay down then you are gooone....

I think Cat wasn't really listening when Lawson said his thing after Cat confessed her feelings to him, and Lawson wasn't really believing anything he was saying to Cat. Cat knew that all she had to do was try again with Lawson and that he would be hers.

Okay, I see what you're saying, and giving a lot of credit to Lawson who was very aware of the feelings of the person he was sharing the sanctuary with. He is also 23 years old and should be very aware of his own experiences with alcohol and whether it affects him and his judgment (if people find that a valid excuse). As such, he should have laid down boundaries much earlier (before he was drunk and/or passed out, if indeed he was) knowing that Cat was given HOH and there was a chance she would pick him to join her.

When Cat said "my fav part of tonight is right now" their faces were right next to each other's and it looked like Lawson was stroking her face with his hand. That bit is not in the video on jumpin but was in the ending of the show. I agree when the kissing noises were made it did not look like their heads were together but the bit I saw looked very intimate.
