I am confused about what he meant but I think that's because of the way channel 9 cut the conversation. I think they are trying to make it ambiguous or trying to imply Lawson has similar feelings when he doesn't.

I might watch again to check when I get a chance. Their conversation was definitely cut up. Channel 9 didn't show it in full uninterrupted.

That's just the impression I got. They kept cutting away to other people.

I will watch that part of the episode again sometime today to see what really happened.

Yeah my mistake. I take back blaming channel 9. I just watched the clip on jump in and Lawson wasn't clear at all with the way he worded things.[DOUBLEPOST=1412471416][/DOUBLEPOST]

My impression, after watching it a few times, is that Lawson feels the same way Cat does, but he knows that he can't do anything because it would cost him any chance of winning Big Brother. He also wants them to remain friends because he likes their 'alliance'. But I don't think Cat was listening after Lawson said "It's just not possible.".

I wonder how Lawson's girlfriend feels about that?
 
WTF! These people go into BB, leave relationships behind for maybe 3 months. So fame or money is more important. If the outside partner gets offended by interactions in the house, why was he/she not offended by being second choice to fame, fortune? Any cheating is no biggie (except for Priya, but she has made her situation clear), but ponder why anyone would find Lawson, Sam attractive. Like Cat, she told it like it is, but cannot figure why Lawson would attract her anyway!
 
Not only did it seem to me that he meant he also had feelings for her...but it seemed to me that he was confirming that's what he said when relaying the convo to Sam later.
