I don't think she was that ruthless about it. You could see she has been conflicted about it, but in the house you would "forget" it was inappropriate to an extent I reckon. I just don't get the Cat hate when it is Lawson's relationship, not Cat's.

Oh so interesting. Well isn't that a bit what BB is about? Putting people in a house to see what they will do?
I think we need to put our stalker... Investigation skills to good use here. You may be on to something. It seems strange Cat got all those save votes too last time she was up. If 4chan are behind it then there's got to be a reason? 4chan is known for naked women and porn so could Cat be some sort of amateur porn star they are barracking for?
.. Or, as suspected, voting is somehow rigged and Ch9 are purchasing prepaid phones and racking up bills to not look sus

The 4chan theory makes more sense.

The guys at 4chan just like drama. They were the same with the Drully situation last year. Or maybe they just like crazy pussy. But the Jump-in voting is very easy to rig. I know, because I showed them how to rig it

I've got the power
I just watched the end again. Now it seems like Cat pulled the blankets over their heads, then there was a timelapse, then kissing sounds? to which you can see Lawson pull his head back in a jerk motion like it was not mutual. then she says her favourite bit was right now. What if that dialog was said before that kiss on Lawson from the predator Cat?

I think Cat said "No, more like this." and Lawson said "Oh yeah, yeah.".

I'm going to go back and watch that bit again now, keeping what you've said in mind.
And yeah, even though I don't believe they would add anything that didn't happen (eg. kissing sounds), I do think the order of things can get conveniently moved around a bit in the editing.
It was funny when at the dinner table Cat was like "I have felt more in a friendship with other males but have kept quiet because it would ruin things and I would rather keep the friendship than ruin it..."
... This should have been one of those times. That, or she's saying she doesn't value Lawson's friendship.

Lawson's face when Cat was speaking was interesting to watch.

I don't see why a 30 odd year old shouldn't pursue a younger man. Fuck me, men do it all the bloody time. It's such a sexist standard to hold her to and quite frustrating. Personally, I don't know them, so I find it bloody entertaining.
Nothing wrong with a woman liking a man who's younger, but there actually is quite a bit of a difference between 31ish and 23, regardless of the gender. It's more evident when the female's older. I used to agree with you - didn't like the double standard - but the older I get, the more I realize that it is actually true. Two years ago, I never would have entertained the thought of being with someone who was 27, let alone 30. Now, 27 seems okay, but 30 is still quite a bit away. Those differences are apparent in our culture.
Also, to be honest, Lawson's not the most mature 23 year old. It makes you wonder how someone at Cat's age, who has been married, must be if that's what she's attracted to. She has major issues.
There is a school of thought that it is ok to pursue someone if they are taken. It's just the manner in which you do it. People who are in relationships fall for other people all the time. The issue is, if you like someone who is taken, you have to let the taken person decide. Not pressure, not trick, not work towards ruining their current relationship so they are yours.
So you don't try to get them to hook up with you, so their partner will dump them. You especially don't do that on TV when you know the partner is watching and will be getting mad.
Clearly there's some boundaries you don't cross, it changes with marriage, with kids and the situations around those things.
It just needs to be a bit clear, it doesn't matter Cat liked him and he was in a relationship. She needed to show some awareness that there is another girl involved. Instead she clearly had decided she was going to make Lawson hers. Then Lawson himself has just as much blame, in fact I would say a lot more, in actually abandoning his outside relationship.
I don't agree that it's okay to pursue someone who's taken. In my opinion, that's never okay. It never ends well, either. I know people who are currently with someone they pursued whilst taken and they're pretty much all miserable. In most cases, I've known of at least one of them cheating on the other, too. Why would you ever trust someone who left their partner for you!? They could easily do the same in the future. Those are the kinds of people who lack loyalty/basic human respect.
Personally, I knew a guy once who had a girlfriend. I didn't actually know he had a girlfriend until way later after I met him (months later). In any case, I had no interest in him. He pursued me from the start, but in very subtle ways. I knew he liked me early on, so I made sure to keep my distance, although we were in an intensive course together and were in the same group. He had apparently been wrestling with the idea of telling me how he felt whilst with her but it wasn't until he broke up with her that he finally did. I respected that he at least managed to end it with her before formally saying anything to me, but I have no idea what he told our classmates. I'm fairly certain at least one of them knew how he felt. Besides not actually liking him, I wouldn't have been into the idea of going out with someone who basically fell out of like/love with his girlfriend a full year before he broke up with her and was able to emotionally attach himself to another girl whilst in that relationship. I don't know - you have to be very poorly-adjusted to do that, in my opinion.
