Blasts From BB Past

2007 was my least favourite year. Most of the housemates were in it for the fame. I think I might have liked 1 or 2 during the entire season. The cast was rubbish.

I agree... The casting was awful that season and it was my least favourite house, it was ugly!

I truly only liked Aleisha, Emma, Zach and Daniela.

Could not stand Emma or her shadow, Aleisha. Zach was overtly camp acting (was not himself) and Daniela was ok I guess - not very memorable. My favourite was Travis. I wanted him to win from Day One. At least he came third......better than nothing.

I have to disagree and say the following year was totally craptastic. 2007 was pretty bad but 2008 rotted.

My favorite season was hands down Season 5. Tim and Vesna made that whole season. I still remember Aluminium Underpants day. Tims unrequited love for Kate, and the hilarious dancing task, with the anti-task being to throw a dancing dummy over the wall.

I think that was the season that taught me what an 'upper-deck' was too...

oh my God that was funny!!! why can't i remember these things or half the people or even the house. And that other girl jumps up and dances topless....ahhhh those were the days.

I found the majority of 2008 housemates quite endearing. Terri was amazing and so was Ben. At the end of the day I wish Ben had won but glad that Tezza did. It was a great variety of hm's!

No idea what an upper deck is, but this was my favourite season as well.

LOl I can't believe I'm going to type this..

An upper deck is where a guy ( or girl I guess?) takes a shit in the upper cistern part of a toilet. :|
Oh God. What is a reverse kanga then? Just turning around and crapping the other way?

Dear Lord that season was edumacational.

Haha... I'll always silently feel like I was the one the started the idea for this thread!

Indeed, the reverse kanga (degree of difficulty 4.1) involves sitting facing the wall and letting your turd slide down the front of the bowl. Those boys sure were classy !

Yeah, my fourteen year old self learned a hell of a lot from the 2005 housemates, aha.

ha I still remember Glenn talking about that, and also turds that come out so nicely that you don't need to wipe.

David's reaction in this still cracks me up. I remember on FNL when Fitzy kept replaying the part where he rips off his microphone!

I'm not sure what I think of 2008. I stopped watching it half way thinking it was bottom of the barrel garbage. Seeing clips of it today on YouTube, I don't think I was necessarily wrong, but maybe a bit harsh. It certaintly didn't help that Kyle and Jacki O were the host, they were pure dogshit, made the show fell like pure low class, low rent trash. There were definitely a few interesting characters and moments though.
