I feel like it's either 1. Some weird unintended effect of the way they're processing their videos or 2. Done on purpose with the theory that saturated videos get more views. A lot of TV from the 2000s looks washed out and dull by today's standards, especially reality TV.

Totally, but at least split the difference. Seems it’s not just the saturation either. Look how dark these shots are now! 🧐

Also, just a heads up, the 2008 stream (Parts 1-4) has framerate issues. The picture keeps stuttering and jitters a lot. Someone asked about it and the social team mentioned they played last weekend’s marathon from a home PC using a personal wifi connection, due to Friday’s tech issues, so the video frequently lagged. They said it’ll be fixed and back (at the Ten/BB offices?) for the final Parts this weekend.

So, for smooth versions of these eps, we’ll have to wait for the individual releases. Frustratingly.
