Omg, how good to finally put a face to, I assume, "Crotchety Old Big Brother" and "Gay-Sounding Big Brother". 😄 As I've been calling them during my rewatch.

So in case nobody’s mentioned it yet, Ten have finally ramped up the adverts. The promo now airs once nearly every single commercial break all day and night, well at least from what I’ve seen it has. (We know Ten like to go overboard with their promotions… anyone that remembers their Masked Singer and I’m A Celeb campaigns, iykyk!) Can’t help but do a little dance every time I hear the theme on TV. 💁‍♂️

As someone else mentioned recently, it does not include the “AI” voiceover at the start, so they definitely got the hint from feedback on the day it was released on socials. I feel like it works better without it anyway.

I did see the one with the AI voice after I mentioned seeing the one without, but glad they've canned it. I don't see why they didn't just keep the Peter Abbott version.

I also saw on the livestream chat that (from what I recall) they're getting ready to shift their focus to promoting more of the new season on their socials. Because we are only 6-7 weeks away from launch.
 
I'm so glad I don't have to suffer the ad strategy of 10 and the other Aussie networks but I think a big problem is they go too hard and too early and by the time the show actually comes around you're sick of it.

Also feel with 10 each reality franchise only seems to exist to promote the next - will probably have "I'm a Celebrity - January" tagged all over the episodes.

No voice at all. That section with "special announcement" seems to be cut, straight into "The show that made TV history is returning home". It also has a section with Mel Tracina in a "control room" which wasn't present in the original promo, so I'm assuming that's how they make up the lost time. Also, this newest version of the promo doesn't seem to be online anywhere - I've found the Peter Abbott version and the AI version (with Mel), but not the no voice/Mel version.

Edit: There seems to be three versions of the promo:
1. Peter Abbott (early versions)
2. AI/Mel Tracina
3. No BB/Mel Tracina (currently airing)

The one I’ve seen playing on TV (from the 10 app via ChromeCast) is almost the same but includes the “Live Nominations, Live Evictions” bit too.

BRAND NEW PROMO JUST AIRED ON TEN! AT ABOUT 9PM!

Had all the classic iconic moments from BB between 2001-2008 in a wall of boxes on a giant TV-like screen.

Text that said something like: "What will make TV history this year?" ending with "BB10 Coming Soon"!
