After the Eviction of Mik, Ed has gone to extrodinary lengths to combat Tim's mind games.

thanks!
I really should re-install after effects and use that. Instead of just using photoshop lol

Yeah, I did my animation (page 70 I think) using Photoshop, and it was all turning into layer soup by the end of it! Pasting a layer in, and then turning off that layer for all the previous frames was a pain in the ass! Plus I don't really use Photoshop very often.

Yeah, I feel with photoshop there has to be some features and tricks to doing animations that I don't know. Although that said, being one program as part of a creative suite of programs. They probably segment out features.

I think I might re-install after effects and use that for any more I do. Although in a way, re-figuring out some things may take more time.

I do wonder if this would have actually been quicker at the end of the day. The main things I miss is the motion tracking would be handy. As well as not having the move every layer frame by frame.

I'm pretty good with photoshop though. Despite sometimes work being very crude and rough on here, i'm professionally trained. One thing that took me a while to learn is that things can be good enough. So with internet stuff as jokes and for fun. You can spent twice as long doing something, it may look better but not be any funnier. Sometimes it may require a lot more than twice as long to not look crude and not be funnier. Sometimes the crudeness adds to the charm.

Also one of the biggest time consuming things is finding a photo of the housemate that is compatible with your idea. I don't want to look through every photo on the official site to pick the best. Fine one that's good enough. Adjusting colour matching, brightness, contrast, exposure can be really time consuming and I don't think it's really needed.

I haven't been there in many many years, but there's a Photoshop competition website worth 1000. It used to be amazing, then too many under skilled people got involved and it went to shit. No idea what it's like now. Anyway one of the themes was subtle. I spent ages on a photo-shopped image. It was seamless. I spent ages matching colours. Matching the blurr and distortion of the lense and film grain. I even got a special trophy award from the website. However in the competition I got one of the lowest scores because no one could tell what the fuck I had done to the image. Although all those that did commented how awesome it was. I'll try and find the image, this is literally 10 years ago. It was JFK and I changed the old 60s airforce one behind him to the modern 747 one.
