I’ve never been sold on the idea but I’m sold on the idea of using nostalgia to hype this series. It’s actually lifted my spirits a bit since the rumour of a 4 week series tanked the majority of my previous hype.

To the point where I’m starting to think it’s merely a consequence of the hold-back and not a decision made lightly.

At very least they’d be willing to look at faults and work to correct them moving forward. This is a massive investment for both Dreamworld and 10 not to. Especially in the world where streaming is king… If Love Island USA can rack up 1.2 billion streaming hours BBAU can position itself as the highest streamed show in Australia.

Finally saw the second part of it and I’m now convinced… If there’s one thing BB loves more than a twist it’s a fake out and subtle hint. There’s also the brand synergy with DW adapting the word BIG becoming their new marketing gimmick. That’s not to mention the grass roots virality of the campaign launch.

This is everything Nine tried to do but could never really catch.

They’ve liked a shit ton of comments so I doubt that’s anything to go off of. I’d just say their choice of wording is peculiar. BB in its prime was MASSIVE but then they conveniently switch to BIGGER? Don’t worry I bet there’s still at least one more fake out before they’ll announce it… Next time it will be BUT WAIT…

If they did that would be extremely low… But hey in 2025 I guess anything is possible

Because it's all about the clicks. If they're not involved but their socials/marketing team have realised they can piggy back on the early hype then fair play. And if BB is elsewhere in the Gold Coast still an opportunity for them to profit from it by getting show visitors to also visit them.

They also might be a sponsor even if they don't host the house.
