Big Brother back in 2025 on 10! AND LIVE!

Seriously can Channel 7 just fuck off and deal with their own problems like their sexually abusive executives and show hosts, that actual war criminal they had on payroll, that racist bitch who hosted the last lot of Big Brother and their WA newspaper that is constantly licking the ring of that coal burning billionaire cunt?

Thanks 🤭
To quote my Nan…

Hup!

They need to fucking PISS OFF OUT OF IT!!!

Don’t really see this apparent “hold back” being an issue. If it’s the only thing 7 still have in their contract surely there’s a settlement that can be negotiated.

In business money will pretty much fix anything and given the timeline we’re working there really shouldn’t be any worry this will hold anything up.

7 sending Sonia’s hairdresser over to TV Tonight (at least they chose a reputable outlet) to make this public is just them ensuring they have the upper hand in any negotiations.

Hey so… do you guys think this would still work?

This was from when I did a Skype audition for them for the 2021 season due to Covid restrictions in Victoria. The account probably isn’t even in use anymore though.

I don't know if there's much point in doing anything until this hold back thing is resolved. But here's their casting page:

Speaking of casting hopefully they keep BB separate from their other shows. This being a return to form and a decade since the show was live should be enough to build a large enough and distinct pool from whatever else Endemol Shine are casting for atm.

Don't know if it means anything but the BB promo reel has now been deleted from the BBAU Insta page.
I still see it 💁🏼‍♂️

ETA: The article specifically states 7 aren’t suggesting “wrong-intent on anybody’s part, nor any suggestion Seven is trying to prevent 10’s broadcast of Big Brother”. Which I’m interpreting as 7 simply defending their contract rights. If anything this is just a small technical bump in the road and unlikely to have any affect on the show moving forward.

He's referring to the bigbrotherau Instagram, not to the channel10au profile, which would arguably be a slightly bigger deal for Seven because that account was probably run by EndemolShine. I don't know if they had the video or not, but they changed the profile picture to the new logo.

Whatever it’s still just a technicality until some sort of settlement has been reached. As I said before making this information public is an insurance policy to ensure 7 won’t be lowballed or flat out ignored.

Seeing some of the discourse on Twitter/X now that the fan sites have picked up on the TVTonight story has got me a bit pissed off.

No hate to David Knox but he either should have pressed his source for more context on Seven’s end goal and/or given a bit of speculation. It’s obvious to me that he implied there was some nuance but it’s clearly being overlooked in favour of the narrative that big bad 7 has put the reboot in peril 🙄.

To an extent. They’ve removed the official tag/link to the BBAU socials, so the video and post about Mel aren’t attached to those pages anymore - same on Facebook. But you can still view the announcement on Ten’s socials (thankfully).

They’ve also changed the BBAU Insta bio to something more generic, which up until yesterday said something along the lines of “Returning home to Ten in 2025”.

It seems Seven’s letter has a bit of weight to it.

7 realistically arent doing shit about this, it’s the taller kid stealing the shorter kid’s lunch and throwing it onto the school roof.
Honestly if this was big bad 7 they’d have done a hell of a lot more than just send 10 a letter.

If Channel 7 actually listened to what viewers wanted it would have rated better and been a success for them. They took everything we all loved about the authenticity of Big Brother out of the show and the ratings went with it. The dog shit they produced was a completely different show to what Big Brother was designed to be.
