I agree 100% and it also has the slight overlay of the new global branding still. I really hope they keep the “real” eye and the original logo font.
The last 2 network incarnations started with in the annoucnement, then changed it completely. I think 10 have to lean into the nostalgia, but again keeping the modern aesthetic and Australian style too. The look and feel of that promo is perfect. Modern, digital vibe, but classic.

I feel like if Peter is back running it, he will lead this heavily. It could be a situation that they have looked to bring him onboard because they know he launched it in the market and it’s time to do it again.
It’s going to be a long 12 months but I’m so excited to see the build up.

The man is in his 60’s is in his 60’s IDK if he’d want to return to the show as a full time EP. I did suggest a little while ago that if 10 we’re going to revive the show they should bring him back as a consultant.

If not Queensland, could they consider something like Wet & Wild Sydney? They film a few shows out there, most recently Last King of the Cross. There is a shit load of room there and might be the perfect place.

Yeah crew wise Sydney sounds most plausible and Wet N Wild would make sense based on the Last King.

Also. Interestingly I wonder who owns the copyright to the original BB theme. As for as I know 001 Production who made it are no longer a thing and I’m 99% sure that neither 9 or Seven ever used it, which makes me wonder if the rights sit with 10? Which again is interesting in potential terms of remix opportunities.

Also on the “past” Last I heard all of the original tapes of past episodes are all away in storage and unlabelled and a nightmare to sift through to find any footage, so that’s why YouTube uploads get used a lot of the time ( you can tell in the Michael v Gretel interview based on Sound quality it’s the Youtube rip. )

That’s true! Consulting producer would make sense or a co ep situation like what happened in 2007 with Noble and Toni

My idea was essentially for him to come in and set the foundation, help hired people in key positions, and perhaps do some work on casting. Since it seems he’s also done some voice over work for this promo I’d say bring him in for live nominations and for the eviction show. Basically bring him in for the fun stuff and let the others fall back on day to day operations and getting the slow to air.

There was caps on the free streaming per day. Or you could be a premium member taking out a streaming pass for the season at a fee via the BB website
3 mobile also allowed streaming on their services if you were on a plan with them as well.
