I mean she can probably just do a live cross from GC or Brisbane when they film. But, didn't Gretel live in Sydney? I can't remember if they moved her up here for the duration of BB or just flew her back and forth. But I'd say it would be the same for Mel.

I don't think a live cross would translate well for her segment on cheap seats compared to her being in studio. Gretel I'm pretty sure was flying back and forth. As for Mel I'm pretty sure she also does radio, unsure when she specifically is on air but I assume she'll have to adjust something somewhere.

looking at the wikipidea dates for each series, the show typically stops airing by mid-late November

Mel is on air from 9am to 2PM across the Nova Network. Technically she could do her show From Nova 106.9 in Brisbane. Or Maybe Aaron Rich will fill in for her while she is off busy with Bigbrother. Aaron usually fills in for her on Tuesday as Mel is busy filming the cheap seats.

Same. But I’m prepping myself for worst case scenario.

I know we don’t have anything confirmed yet and it might be a bit soon to jump the gun, but I’m getting in the mindset that it’s going to be a short 1 month season.

At least that way I’m either pleasantly surprised or numb to the eventual disappointment.

At this point it kind of feels like every rumour or leaked information (the tiny amount we have) is leaning towards the series being short.

yeah test run like CBBUK8 I just finished watching, but without the new civilian series starting the night after.
