Housemate Tahan Lew-Farr came in third.

Dormer will take home $250,000 in prize money, while Pietrantonio will walk away with $10,000.

The former radio show host had been the bookies favourite to take out the 10th incarnation of the reality TV show competition.
During his time in the house, other housemates described Tim as a 'creator of havoc' and a 'master manipulator'.

Day 101: Tahan is evicted from the House.

Earlier in the evening, Lew-Fatt was named as second runner up.

Lew-Fatt, 24, was a favourite on social media to take out the title and $250,000 prize money.
The Darwin-born, Melbourne-based government worker had survived a record eight evictions while in the house.

I think it's easy to spot so I won't point it out :)

HIS biggest claim to fame before entering Big Brother was streaking nude on a plane, but the sky is now the limit for series winner Tim Dormer after he clinched the title and $250,000 cash prize.

The Nova radio prankster outlasted 18 housemates - including grand finalists Jade Pietrantonio and Tahan Lew-Fatt - and survived 101 days inside the BB house. He won the closely-fought battle by just two per cent of the final public vote.

In the marathon finale which felt like it lasted as long as this year's season, Dormer was confirmed as the winner by claiming 36 per cent of the votes to win, with Pietrantonio runner-up at 34 per cent and Lew-Fatt the first to go with 30 per cent of the vote.

The 29-year-old victor from Sydney was reluctant to leave the BB bubble, telling his TV puppeteer: "this is my house, this is my dream house ... I don't want to go."

He told host Sonia Kruger he had won the mental war by playing with his head not his heart.

Reminded of his cash jackpot he said: "I'm going to need a bigger wallet." He then thanked the screaming studio crowd and declared: "we did it."

Dormer was hailed as the ultimate strategist in the social experiment, using his intellect as a weapon, then winning favour when he needed with moments of kindness.

In his farewell message to Dormer, Big Brother said: "Australia has chosen you ... you have been ruthlessly honest about wanting to win."

The first shock during the three-hour live elimination extravaganza came when contender Lew-Fatt was sent packing. She was soon reunited with her V8 racing driver boyfriend David Reynolds. He had been previously accused of using his profile to orchestrate a voting bloc.

Lew-Fatt, famed for her brutal honesty and signature line 'I'm not going to lie to you', dismissed Pietrantonio as a legitimate contender for the 2013 crown. She told the audience: "Jade, she's a nice girl, but she's not being herself all the time and she wants to work this for jobs on the outside."

This year's evicted housemates were welcomed back, with Kruger quizzing BB lovebirds Drew and Tully about the future of their relationship, after the latter was targeted for cheating on her girlfriend during the reality contest.

Kruger saved her best zinger of the night for Ed, the beau of runner-up Jade pressing him to share his motivation for staying with the 23-year-old blonde beauty: "three little words ... I ... love ... cash?"

And so, it ended a race in two, with Jade happy to see Tim win, while Dormer questioned whether he was "a genius or just a crazy idiot."

After being named the winner, Australia decided he's a crazy, genius entertainer. And a rich one too.

Watching Tim on Today show and Mornings. Great interviewee. Love that he is going to take Ben to Graceland and also Drew to Africa? didn't quite catch it.

For those that missed the Tim interview on Today this morning.

99% sure that was photoshopped but I could be wrong. Tim interviewed Russell Brand back in 2010 I think.

Yeah it's from this at the 48 second mark
