Well, he is a celebrity and known person in the car racing industry so I don't blame him for saying that. If only Tahlia had said that to Tully before entering the house

That was a little fib! everyone recognised him! they all stood and cheered when he came on!

Big Brother fans are in shock after Ben Zabel was evicted tonight.
Viewers are struggling to comprehend that the 30 year old, from Queensland, has left the Channel 9 reality show.
The Big Brother studio audience erupted after the announcement, giving Ben a standing ovation.
Ben had been one of the favourites to collect the $250,000 first prize.
Tahan has now shot to short odds to win Big Brother after walloping the other nominated housemates with 32.1 per cent of the votes to save.
All of the guys were within a point or two of going home. Tim, another favourite to win, scored 17.8 with Ed on 16.9, Drew on 17.0 and Ben last on 16.2.
Tonight's result is a huge upset - a massive turnaround from a few weeks ago when Ben was the centre of a fake eviction after getting the most votes to save.
"This year there has been no pattern to the voting," Big Brother host Sonia Kruger said. "We've had more votes to save this week than any other eviction this year."
Ben, famed for roaming the house in his pyjamas, seemed to have a sixth sense that he was going home.
He told the other housemates that if he left, he wouldn't be upset about not winning but about missing people.
"I had a feeling," he said when the verdict was announced. "Don't expect me to come back (another fake eviction).
"This is mental health boot camp. I found it so rewarding. This is part of the reinvention of my life."
The remaining housemates were stunned by the elimination.
"We're losing a family member," Tim said.
Fans of the show took to Twitter to express their shock and dismay at Ben's eviction:
Big Brother, I'll give you Jade, Mikkayla, Boog, Madaline and even Ed in exchange for Ben please. Ridiculous. #bbau

It's okay Ben come to my house instead. @BBAU9 #bbau #bbau9

Prime example of what laziness leads to, voters. #bbau9

Geez, I think I am getting way too involved with big brother. Sure I'm going to have nightmares about Tahan winning. #BBAU

Such a 'celebrity', I have never heard of him.

Hmmm that doesn't quite add up, does it? Who knows though. I don't think I buy into the whole fake-persona thing, but that story doesn't quite equate with the review of his stand up act.

Interesting article on the life and times of a reality star. Features Susannah as well as Geneva. Geneva appears very resentful of her time on BB.

No doubt because Geneva presented herself as a skank whore who bumped uglies with that disgusting p.o.s Glenn in the sauna
EVICTED Big Brother contestant Ben Zabel reckons it might be time to hang up the pyjamas.
The 30-year-old, from Queensland, is out to start a new, more exciting phase of his life, after appearing on the Channel 9 reality show.
The gay former flight attendant admits that he led an insular, hermit-like existence before his time in the Big Brother house.
Ben says he lacked confidence and would shun social contact. He would wear designated daytime pyjamas around his apartment all day with another set for sleeping at night. He is currently unemployed.
Spending nearly three months living with housemates including Tim, Tahan, Mikkayla, Ed and Drew has changed his mindset.
Ben describes his time in the Big Brother house as "mental health boot camp" and says appearing on the show is the first step in the reinvention of his life.
"I've suffered with general anxiety issues and depression (in the past) and that has inhibited me from branching out and trying new experiences," Ben says.
"I've said no to a lot more things than I've said yes to. I've restricted myself socially and when you do that the phone doesn't ring as much and you don't meet new people.
"I think having said yes to this (Big Brother) experience and to see all the positive things it has brought me make me feel more inclined to say yes I'll go there or yes I'll do that.
"I'd never tried a croissant before (being in the Big Brother house) and I never went to the beach because I thought I'd just get sunburnt.
"I'm not a germ-o-phobe but I've always been very finicky and there wasn't an opportunity to be fussy like that in the house.
"I found that when I stopped all those habits of mine, guess what, I didn't die or get sick. I was OK.
"The pyjamas very much represent the fact that I spend a lot of time hiding away at home. They are very comfortable and comforting to me.
"I need to get a job, I need money bad, and I need to buy some clothes. I do have to go clothes shopping but I'm going to have to go to a factory outlet."
Ben says he was boosted by the rapturous reception of the Big Brother studio audience last night. He received a standing ovation.
Twitter also exploded after the eviction.
"I am so shocked Ben got evicted", "Big Brother, I'll give you Jade, Mikkayla, Boog, Madaline and even Ed in exchange for Ben" and "I've instantly lost interest" were some of the tweets.
"It (viewer response) has really touched my heart," Ben says. "That crowd last night - to say they were supportive was an understatement. I felt a lot of love there."
A fortnight ago, Ben got a lot of support from TV legends Bert and Patti Newton with the pair telling him they thought he had a bright future on television.
"That was like getting a blessing from the pope," Ben says. "All I know is how to have a chat with people. I don't know what I'll do but it will have to involve talking.
Ben says that Tim is pick to win this year's series, with Tahan a close second.
"Tim drives the show, to an extent," Ben says. "I love to love him and I love to hate him. Tahan is indestructible."
Big Brother evictee Ben Zabel said he had given up finding employment when he decided to audition for the show, but now he wants a job.
Big Brother evictee Ben Zabel hopes his time in house has not been in vain and it actually helps him find a job in the real world.
The former Brisbane flight attendant said he had given up finding employment when he decided to audition for Big Brother.
He said it was a spur-of-the-moment decision to try out for the Nine Network series after he started getting disillusioned with his job prospects.
"Before this job, because I call Big Brother a job, I had applied to be a hospital ward's person, a seafood processor and a mystery shopper," Zabel told AAP.
"I didn't get any interviews.
"Then I put on a poo coloured shirt and a pair of Jay Jay jeans and walked down the street where the auditions were being held and the only call backs I got were from Big Brother."
Zabel was one of the more popular housemates and his exit on Wednesday night was completely unexpected.
He was the hot favourite with bookmakers to win the series, although he was oblivious to his popularity outside of the compound at Dreamworld theme park on the Gold Coast.
"I'm a bit overwhelmed by that, now I know," Zabel said.
"I thought it would have been Tim and Ed, the good-looking people, who were popular.
"I was like the creepy uncle in the corner with the baggy pyjamas."
The openly gay 32-year-old Queenslander said being unemployed actually made life inside the house more enjoyable but also made leaving extremely difficult to accept.
He said because he had nothing waiting for him outside the house and he did not hold ambitions to use the series to forge a career in the media.
He treated his Big Brother experience like a paid holiday.
"A lot of the people in the house have come from something," Zabel explained.
"They've worked in social media, they were sports people or from radio but for me I knew I would be going back to Centrelink on Alfred Street.
"It's not much to come back to and I felt I had created a life for myself in the house, and that sort of made me sad and upset when I head to leave."
Rumours had been circulating among social media forums that Zabel was actually a comedian and playing a very tactical game inside the house.
He admitted twice performing a comedy routine after a creative-writing course, and that's where his stage career started ended.
"I wasn't funny and the audience was very puzzled by me," he said.
Yeah that goes against the evidence. The flyer is from a different show than the reviewed one.
Very odd. If he had address the excuse his supporters said, like, 'oh i briefly did a couple things but it went no where' then it'd be like. Ok cool. Saying he went to an open mic night once... very strange.
As well as his friends saying he should do stand up again.
