Probably just bait. Looks to be a show about repairing and construction at Dreamworld to get it looking decent again, and then Big Brother just happens to be returning.

Flicked through the episode on Ten's website and didn't see anything Big Brother.

Looks like its a USA-based show (airs on the Smithsonian Channel) and this episode originally aired in July. So yeah, just bait unfortunately.

I think a lot of us have a right to be pessimistic. This is now the third revival we’ve gone through, each more disappointing than the last. BUT there is more promise and optimism than ever, and 10 have done a great job (like.. A+ chef’s kiss) at drumming up that excitement.

I’m reserving judgement for Sunday.

Which I like, don’t love. But success to me would be them literally recreating the BB05-BB07 titles with updated graphics to match the new house. I used to love the colour coding of the titles to match the show. But that’s me being a nanna, I will settle for this!

for me the 24/7 stream is by far the most interesting thing about this season. Does anyone know how this will work with regard to commercials? This is a very important aspect for me because its horrible if you are really into a conversation or whatever and they do a commercial. I heard ten is known for much of it in their tv shows? Will there at least be a split screen like the netherlands did it in their livestream so that you still can see whats happens in the house? Anything known yet?

It was mentioned that they'd be using a theme closest to the 2003 theme? I don't see why they don't use the 2005 theme, given they have the stems.

I suspect they'll just crash to ads like the UK version does, usually just as HMs begin to speak after 10 minutes of birdsong.

In fairness to ITV: guinea pigs. As in, "you're going to be my guinea pig", as in "social experiment".

I'm fuzzy on the details (@Brekkie will know), but I think guinea pigs also factored into the very early BBUK marketing (c. BB1-2?) and/or stings on the weekly "psych show" episode? So it was actually one of the only things ITV ever did to acknowledge the show's DNA.

Certainly more than they've done to mark the 25th anniversary and 50th series (if you include Big Brother Panto) this year, i.e. sweet fuck all.

(But yeah, that looks more like an 'I'm a Celebrity' promo than a Big Brother one.)

Honestly, apart from the shots of the no-ceilings (which I would hope are minimised in the actual show), the House looks way better in this video than all the other ones I've seen. I feel a little more positive about it having seen this.

Oh yeah, I remember this too. There was a segment called “Little Big Brother” or something back in 2000, where they did a recap using guinea pigs. IIRC.

There is a dedicated FAST tv channel on 10 available at https://10.com.au/live/big-brother-live-stream.
Their other FAST channels operate like broadcast TV with commercial breaks programmed to fit with breaks in the shows. We'll find out more on Sunday night.
