Honestly I hope they change the entire setup once they realize this series could in fact last longer than 3 series.

An outdoor stage isn’t bad for the premiere or a small crowd to great HM’s when they leave the house but I doubt this setup is going to be sustainable.

*Shudders*. More crappy CH7 influence creeping into the 2025 production, along with the purpley oval eye 😒. There is no I in Big Brother... wait... there is, but that's not my point 😅.
 
This is what modern BB houses look like now, but where are the ceilings??? 😩 Just looks so bad seeing that from above. It’s just a TV set being exposed like that. I couldn’t imagine being a HM and just looking up at that 24/7. 😑
 
I don't know why, but the last few days I've kinda been feeling the hype fade away a little. At this point I think I was more hyped for the YouTube marathons before the 2001 weekend than I am right now.

Maybe I'm just a bit Big Brother'd out since in the last four months, I've watched BBUS27, the current BBUK season and the vast majority of the 13 BBAU YouTube streams (usually only missing bits due to sleep).

I feel that from the marathons. I turned off BBUK a few weeks back just because I think it’s extremely meh. I’m actually still making my way through the marathons online.

Excited for Aus to see how it ends up being produced. I’m feeing the hype fade because I am inclined to believe this hype will be for nothing based on what we’ve seen. I do hope I’m wrong.

100%. They’ve set themselves up for disaster at this point. The entire pre-season campaign has been completely undone in a matter of days.

I now realise “OG” only meant going back to the “original” live format, nothing more. If they keep this up, I think they’re about to lose an entire chunk of the fan base - and potentially even casual viewers by next week - if it has any semblance to BBUK, which is essentially Nine and Seven’s version except (you guessed it) live in realtime.

I think 9 still did it better than 7. This screams 7 with a different livery.
 
I'm laughing my ass off at the pre-emptive backlash. Ridiculous to think it would be all the way OG, and ridiculous to have overdosed on the marathons. Hasn't anyone learned to manage their expectations by now?
 
You can’t remind people of the OG seasons by replaying them for 12 weeks then expect people to run with an iteration that is nothing like them.

I’m obviously not expecting the 2000s in any way and expect a modernisation, but a complete and utter ITV replication (which isn’t even good) was not on my bingo card.
