I’m in a rush so can’t link or quote, but BB just posted another version of the promo with Mel in the diary room with a different background. The green screen theory discussed earlier seems likely correct.

Yet they waited a few more years for someone to give birth in the house. They've sort of re-enacted the Christmas story in their second season (a bit in an attempt to boost the ratings in its last few days). They had somebody play a homeless person who was looking for a place to stay and found it in the Big Brother house. Moved in on Christmas' Eve and left the next day.
Mel Tracina in the Sunday newspapers:
Guys, she’s been practicing how to say “It’s time to go…”“I’ve absolutely been practicing; I’ve said it too many times. My family are getting annoyed. I’m trying it with different inflections to see which one works best.”

She’s so cute
I love her
Mel also mentioned the cast spans 5 decades.Non paywalled linkhttps://archive.ph/iFSQd
Wow, I thought I was up to date with all 948 promos but I haven’t even seen that one.
Bringing this comment back because A) I still don’t like the logo at all, B) they likely won’t retcon the seasons that came after 2008, or at least not until 2014, so it still doesn’t make sense… but C) I’ve now started seeing multiple comments on social media: “can’t wait for BB10”, “is Mike back for BB10?”, “excited for BB10”…It’s interesting the “BB10” branding is so prominent. Technically this would be BB9 for 10. I guess something only a person that’s religiously watched the show would notice but hey.
Surely this is all that it can mean?We presume the branding means BB(on)10
Totally. It’s the design and spacing of it that we consider a flaw. As noted above, basic casual viewers are now mislabeling as a result.Surely this is all that it can mean?
Even if they were to pretend the Nine and Seven era seasons never existed, that would still make it BB9 again, not 10.

I get the feeling this is going to be the default as I've seen them using it several times now.the eye they used lacks any element of the human eye
I think this may be a situation where we have two versions of the logo. The full version with the human eye and the generic logo without. What’s being used here is pretty tiny so the human eye wouldn’t necessarily work. Also the adverts just the generic logo are just using it as a flash for a second or two. Kind of like the C4 era BBUK eye flash adverts never showed the complete eye. Just my theory.Slightly disappointing. Their human eye up to about last week was great and very “OG” - they really seem to have phased it out. Literally.
It’s almost like 10 or Banijay decided they wanted to keep the BB branding consistent across all their brands.
