Agree. LOT of led strip lighting everywhere.I’m not surprised open showers aren’t back, tho I always considered those to be a signature of BBAU. So I’m guessing also no version of Adults Only or Uncut.
This house seems HEAVY with LED accent lighting.
I would assume so for safety, if nothing else? Like how they always have them in the toilets but just don't air the footage unless someone's in there doing something non-toilety (e.g. having a meltdown).Agree. LOT of led strip lighting everywhere.
I do wonder if these showers have cameras though? The idea is that they shouldn’t be able to escape anywhere…
Interesting, thanks. I now realise that if I'd scrolled just a tiiiiiny bit on the link I just posted I would've known that, I am so dumbI would assume this will either change or there’s another show that will air that’s more adult oriented. It’s the same - there’s restrictions on the time of day you can broadcast certain things.
I always found it wild uncut was MA15+.Interesting, thanks. I now realise that if I'd scrolled just a tiiiiiny bit on the link I just posted I would've known that, I am so dumb
Although it does say M-rated programmes can be shown from 7:30pm, just not MA15+ ones (which I guess is what Uncut was?). UK watershed is 9pm, with 18+ material after 10pm.
These shower curtains and giving cheap and tacky. At least do the frosted glass like the UK.Shower reveal. Looks like we won't get any shower vision
I first thought they might be temporary, but then why would they appear in the promoThese shower curtains and giving cheap and tacky. At least do the frosted glass like the UK.
But as always. Happy to be proved wrong seeing the full picture / bathroom.
I think they’re looking to see how this goes. Either way, they’ll be contracted for a few seasons unless this reboot absolutely bombs.Do we think the "tacky" look is due to budget cuts and we could see a slightly better house next year if things go well? Given a lot of the forum has been suggesting a much more reserved budget than previous seasons, could it just be due to a much shorter season they didn't want to go "all out"? Or is this going to be the norm moving forward?
Agreed. The vibe I'm getting from it, coupled with the reused house and similar styles in the UK, it's almost like a "tacky chique" sort of look. But for some reason they're determined to provide this "luxury" style house. We'll know by next weekendI suspect the plan was for them to be open and this is a last minute fix. It does feel too much like a set from what we've seen so far - I do think if budget really was an issue they'd be better off doing as Germany did and going for a back to basics house and making "budget" part of the design.
