I think they may just get on with it and the first show may include the first "week" and end with the first eviction rather than just introduce them one by one.

There was actually a rumour at one point i'm pre sure that auditions weren't even held and they had already chosen their hm's. At this stage, this looks to be true. Based on the rumours, I reckon they already cast most of their hm's before auditions and then got a handful, such as Angela from actual auditions.

I reckon they will actually do that especially with the individual promotional vt's of all the hm's so far.

Personally, I wouldn't mind them doing individual interviews to be released online with the hm's before they went in, like how they do with ET and Ika for can and us.

Do you think they'll end up putting production moles in the 2021 series to help stimulate content they needed but weren't getting?
 
I hope there were some intruder housemates like in previous seasons, but only assuming these are people who disrupted the social and game element.

I don't think there's any purpose of introducing new housemates if they're going to be background characters that don't have much impact.
 
They could do what big brother usa does, or at least the seasons I've seen, and just have a five to ten minute montage at the start of all the different housemates in their homes or doing stuff outside. That way it introduces all the people without it having to stretch out for two hours.

Auditions were held tho, I know 2 people IRL who applied and got to an audition in their metro city (Sydney and Brisbane) and told me they didn't get through, so I guess maybe some people actually auditioned and we'll see? Fingers crossed

There were definitely auditions, but like most reality shows now, it's likely they trawled back through their also-rans from other shows and agencies and started casting those first and topping up from the auditionees. It's cheaper and lazier that way.
 
TVBB Claiming a "Porn scandal" as Chad has posed nude in modelling shots. They "alerted" Channel 7 to them.

I find it odd they are pretending a crime has been committed here. Easily google-able to find the pictures if you want to see the goods, so not really an EXCLUSIVE as the OMG blog posted them on Tuesday.

They’re decent. But not in anyway a “scandal”

TVBB claim everything is an "exclusive" when really, they are not. Horrible media outlet. Almost as bad as fake news CNN.

Absolutely not claiming a crime has been committed and actually say that in the story.

And sorry, he is masturbating in photos... they are beyond 'tasteful nudes'. I don't have a problem with it but the fact is seven would not have cast him if they knew.

He is posing in a way that implies that but he’s not masturbating. Most male photos of this kind pose that way. He’s grasping his genitalia in a suggestive way and you don’t have to be masturbating to have an erect penis, And that’s only in 2 of the photos I’ve seen. The rest are all him posing nude. It’s not as though these are stills from a video of him producing pornography or physical sex acts.There’s a big difference there. It’s a headline grab.
It would be similar if it was a female that was topless and was grasping her breasts and calling that masturbating..

Also as mentioned above the photos were posted on a nude blog site on Tuesday so I doubt it’s an exclusive. I feel Ben found them there or was directed to that site
