Big Brother 2020: Housemates

I'll be interested to watch strategy, I don't care about language.
Yes but they're gonna have to cut out so many interesting conversations cause of the language being used. This is gonna lead to one-dimensional undeveloped characters.

It's about projecting an image.

If projecting a clean image is important to Seven then I'd ask why this program will air as "Big Brother". Why not a different program name?

The Big Brother brand in Australia already has a controversial image.

Even if Seven try to rebrand it as something different, I think it's likely that some people might not watch based on their impression of previous seasons anyway.

You are probably right that people will have pre-existing opinions before watching this show. Which is to only be expected. Maybe channel 7 are hoping a more family friendly big brother will bring in more viewers?

Why does not using bad language mean you have one dimensional undeveloped characters?

That is not G-Rated. Not even those words will be shown on TV.
Is it confirmed to be G rated?? I think even the voice is PG and some eps of Mastechef and i've never heard one foul comment made on them. If it was seen on one of their yt clips. It may have been referenced to only that yt clip.

Cause I reckon many of the hm's will constantly be using words such as 'shit', 'idiot'..etc. when they're having good conversations whether it be about gameplay, their upbringing, religion etc. and they will have to take these convos out potentially.

I think people might have the impression it's G-rated because of the classification on one of the housemate ads. I don't think I've seen any source confirming what classification the actual program will have.

All the videos on the 7Plus page are PG rated so I don't know.

Yeah but if there are housemates that don't use that language are they one dimensional though?

No, not at all, I barely use language like that myself. But alot of my friends do.... Actually my friends use much worse language... But not like horrific language.. bareable.

Journalism at it's lowest to delve through peoples past social media or previous work trying to make a scandal out of nothing. And a show like Big Brother needs people who've lived, not squeaky clean goody two shows. Didn't they have a dominatrix during the Ten run?

Websites and blogs also need to consider the mental health of contestants when running such stories - we get all this talk about the responsibility of producers and the blame is usually deflected to "trolls" on social media, but it's usually trashy sites feeding the trolls by churning out stories without any thought at all to those involved. Sites so outraged by such photos they felt the need to print them all, but of course censor them to show their holier than thou.

The story here is Chad got his dick out in a few photos. It's the 21st century for god sake - what self respecting reality show prospect hasn't?

Absolutely not claiming a crime has been committed and actually say that in the story.

And sorry, he is masturbating in photos... they are beyond 'tasteful nudes'. I don't have a problem with it but the fact is seven would not have cast him if they knew.

Go away already

You are being judgemental and using the content posted to another site, without judgement, as a way to get visitors to your own, and trying to make it out to be something it isn't.

You are also completely ignorant to the difference between nudity and porn - and the reality of the industry is that many young models will have at some point posed nude in their career.
