Rewatch Big Brother 2007 YouTube stream (10-12 Oct & 17-19 Oct)

has the live stream cut some stuff? Has anyone noticed? I notice when they show previously clips or packages there is some stuff that hasn’t been shown like the massive fight between tj and bodie shown during a package for tj on her eviction night.
Or maybe they just never aired these and chucked them in highlights?

I do skip the nomination and Friday night live but assume there isn’t much of that content in there?

There is a particular scene of a screaming match between TJ and Bodie that wasn’t shown until their Eviction highlights package, yes.

Likely was but also with Big Brother being in the position it was in leading in to 2008 wouldn't be surprised if they were looking to cut costs and at that point Gretel was seen as a cost they couldn't afford.
 
I wish Gretel would write a better memoir. Possibly she was fired but surely she was on the same page. It’s so strange to imagine her hosting 2008, it’s for the best that she had nothing to do with it.
 
big brother 2008 wasn’t even as good as the channel 9 seasons. I’ll stand on business when I say that too. I probably won’t even watch the live stream. Also the worst winner ever!

You’re preaching to the choir. Doesn’t mean it’s still not fascinating to rewatch and appreciate from a hindsight lens.
 
I noticed Susannah in the chat taking credit for coining “Blandrew” and saying she started something. Not sure why I found her so irritating.

I really can’t shake my ick with Rebecca either, but I feel so bad about it. The finale brought it all back.

With the exception of Terri I rarely find myself hating on the women in this series but here we are. But still a great season!
 
It’s been fun reliving my youth the last few weekends with these streams. Unlike most of you I hadn’t really done rewatches so it’s been interesting to see how faulty my recollections were and which housemates did or didn’t resonate this time.

The housemates that have joined in the chat for the most part have been great. Zach (the real one) was pretty candid Saturday night.

I’m looking forward to watching the new season with you all since I haven’t really participated since 2022.

I don’t think in the house but she must have said it in the chat and assumes this is why others are saying it, she can’t possibly think she made it up though. I do still really like her and will keep saying this, but I’m pretty sure she thinks she is a sassy Real Housewife type with lots of witty catchphrases when in reality she just… isn’t. But maybe she actually is in real life.

But anyway, she is pretty unproblematic and doesn’t deserve my petty rants.
 
I didn’t realise how much they were paid for their nightclub appearances, I never really gave it much thought but Zach said around $3k, Susannah said $1.5k and Jamie said up to $5k. Not sure why Jamie believes he commanded such a high rate, actually feels so gross to imagine him at a nightclub thinking he is a big star, gives me a visceral response.

But Susannah said she would do a few a night over multiple nights a week. That is so much easy money!
