Rewatch Big Brother 2005 YouTube stream (Sept 12-14 + Sept 19-21)

I might be too young to know of the "chaser guys", who exactly where they? I remember watching the 2011 ACA reunion and being really confused when listening to Tim explain the story. Were they majorly relevant in Australian media?
Oh boy - I remember when I was 11-ish, The Chaser were mandatory weekly viewing in my house.

They ended up getting axed around the same time for a "Make a Realistic Wish Foundation" sketch which got a few talking heads really riled up. But their satire made them basically the number one media / political watchdog for a while there in the mid/late 2000s.

It's all on Youtube and very rooted in the current events of the time - but you get the grasp of their cutting humour.

They had a long running feud with Anna Coren (and Maybe Naomi Robson too?) of Today Tonight I remember they would have segments where they would just randomly show up to the Today Tonight Offices.

Then there was that infamous stunt where Chas dressed up in Osama Bin Laden style attire and tried to gatecrash that G7 Leaders summit (Edit: it was the APEC summit I think George W Bush was attending with Johnny Howard at the time) or whatever they had back in 2007.

Oh and I remember he also pashed Rove McManus on Rove Live one time (Rove was all about that 'who would you turn gay for?' question in his quick questions at the end of the interview and it came from that Iirc) LOL.

Omg I remember that, after the pash Rove said something like, "For those of you at home, lick your hand... and smell it... that's what's going on around here" 🤣 as he waved his hand in front of his face lol

My two cents - I felt like that had a lot more to do with re-living that period of her life too much over the last couple weeks with these streams. She divulged she’s not in a great place mentally, and also disclosed some dissatisfaction with the end result. She spoke quite a bit about how David and his family allegedly set up the voting farm for Greg, as we all know (and I suspected this was actually the “spicy gossip” she referred to, because she said David mentioned it at the after party… I could be wrong though).

Not to make any assumptions, but I’d say the Finale especially would be triggering for her - we all re-witnessed the reception Vesna got by the live audiences at not only her eviction but it trumped every other HM at the Finale. Also those that remember the hype for her at the time, it was a big surprise that she left when she did. She was basically robbed of the win in a way, and maybe she couldn’t bring herself to watch it play out again?

Just a hunch.
It would be interesting to know whether she regrets not trying to vote out Greg when she had the chance to instead of Dave? I guess there was no real way that Kate or Tim were ever gonna vote Greg and she didn't like Dave on a personal level a lot of the time it seemed. I think in 2025 the housemates vote out 'Greg' in that spot.

Looks like they aren’t going to stream BB06 this weekend. Wonder if it’s going to be paused until after the 25 season?

They’ve all but confirmed they’re definitely running through 2008 til the start of the new season.

They’ve just been starting to promote it later each week on socials for some reason.
