Big Brother 2005 on official YouTube channel (Live streamed Sept 12-14 + Sept 19-21)

How far did they get over the weekend then? Are we at the point of 100 day seasons now?
Yep. We’re up to Day 54 in Week 8 of 14.

Amazingly, we’ll still manage to fulfil all the remaining seasons across seven more weekends (approx eight 12-hour blocks per season). Season 8 will likely be shorter, especially if they don’t stream Big Mouth (that season’s equivalent of Uncut). But will still take us to the first weekend of November.

Has Vesna said anything noteworthy in the chat over the weekend?
Honestly the most noteworthy comment was that Kris Noble is allegedly deceased. I haven’t come across anything or anyone else who can confirm this though. Reggie was also in the chat at the time and didn’t acknowledge it.

That’s not to say it isn’t true. But I’m not yet convinced?

Sad if true.

There's not a whole lot to base this off, but I found an obituary for a Christopher Noble who died in Western Australia in 2020. Only difference is it's Christopher with a C, not a K, and he was born in 1951, not 1952 as indicated on his IMDb profile.

Yeah, I tried looking for information about Kris's passing and didn't find much either. I presume the family wanted to keep it private.

God Heath was a horrific choice for an intruder that year. We had literally just been watching a misbehaving boys club all season and who do they throw in....a guy who was exactly the same as all the others (except Tim). Absolute braindead choice.

Yeah, but the headline comes from further into the article.
Today Kate said she had only made the remarks because it was a "really really awkward situation".

"I have gay friends both male and female... which I love and adore so much," she said.

"And in that situation where there were two heterosexual men that clearly didn't want to kiss each other, but did it for a dare, it was awkward."

Even though Kate said she did not mean the comments, she apologised to the gay and lesbian community, saying she had no idea of the storm of controversy she had created.

"I had no idea about any of this," she said.

"I can't apologise enough and tell people how sorry I am for the things I said, because I don't mean them."
I'm not sure which version of events I believe more, the blanket "I'm homophobic" statement, or whether she had to change her story because it reflected badly on her towards the nation.

Either way it was too late for backpedaling, it had already cost her the game.

It’s sad to hear her spew her homophobic bullshit but it has a silver lining that the voters didn’t side with it, I’m impressed by 2005 standards
