That's a little sad. Being liked and all is cool but needing to be liked is kinda tragic. Especially online where you're anonymous. I hope you get some RL validation but I'm thinking maybe not so much. You're not short of self-love though, maybe that compensates. "Each to their own self love be true" O_O

I never hang out on Facebook.
But surely confronting abusers is pretty normal?Why shouldn't he challenge haters?

I wouldn't expect a measly 15-likes-poster to know how cooooool it is to have 40+ likes.

Umm... I was talking about being liked, i.e the poster, online persona or RL person... not the amount of 'likes' attributed to you by those liking your posts.

I don't give a fig if I'm liked online, or my posts liked either for that matter. I've been around since 2007, 2005 under another Nic. I'm not a prolific poster, never have been, never will be. Post counts, like counts, mean nothing to me and to whom I admire "or like" on these forums.

Sorry, my measly 15-likes don't make me coooool enough in your books. Naw!... not sorry at all.

I've just been a lurker on this thread but thought I'd step in and give some defence to the Ben Haters. I myself was turned off the moment he brought up Estelle in his introduction post - AND with updates as recent as a holiday he took with her last year. People have said the Ben Haters need to get over it as it's been two years, well he’s obviously not gotten over the Estelle thing himself. Hs Estelle update was of course followed by typical Ben being strategically vague in that ‘I won't say WHAT Estelle did but believe me she's a bad person’ manner he's done ever since leaving the show.

After that I got even more annoyed when he said about BB07 Zach "I couldn't shake the thought he looked like a lizard. Really nice guy though." And THEN referred to Michael 'John' Bric from BB06 as "the one with the twitch". Then said he was friends with a female law person from BB02 whose name he can’t remember (must be great friends!).

Based on all of this to me it seems to me Ben has learned nothing from his Big Brother experience nor anything from the mass of hate he's received POST show. I'm sorry but he STILL seems nasty. Why would you come on here and start throwing shade at former housemates and then not expect negativity in return? Saying someone "is a nice guy" and then saying they look like a Lizard is to me – mean.

I personally thought he was a horror in the house. I had wanted a gay person to win since BB02 but I actually voted against him the final night - voting for Estelle (who I didn't even particularly like) to try and stop him winning.

I agree that those who are against Ben should probably just find other threads to hang out in (I’ll most likely do the same) but at the same time, I can completely understand people who weren’t fans of him to start with to be angered by his appearance here on the forums when as I said – he's been acting in a similar manner to what we knew of him on the show.

I still have a beef with Ben for plotting against Ray and Sam, my two faves in the house, as well as coining the "Mr Potato" head name for Sam. So to me having him come on these forums saying nasty things about former housemates is just so eye rollingly typical of I know of him from the show and from twitter, and I don't blame anyone in responding to that negativity with their own.

A leopard never changes his spots, true dat. I'm more appalled and disgusted at the fact that this guy still has supporters, people who are presumably old enough to know better. *smh*

I'm sure TALENTStanner doesn't get up in the morning thinking "Oh my god I hope I have likes on the BBBA forums otherwise I won't have the strength to leave the house and go to work". People who speak out can sometimes be attacked wildly on forums and it may begin to seem they're the problem, when in fact the 'likes' show there are lurkers who are supporting what they're saying and so they're not as unwanted as the people attacking them are making it seem.

Thank u! What I was merely trying to say and I thought this was quite obvious, was that I had a lot of support in this thread even if it wasn't vocal and that was proven by the likes. I really don't give a rats about likes on a forum, I've been more than outspoken here in many threads yet apparently now Im a likes whore.

He'll never change. He's kidding himself if he thinks he has.

Oh well, last year's winner made up for it I guess...
