BBUSA: Battle of the Block. In HD. And Color.

First time I think last night they've DQ'd a HoH on the live show. I'm sure they've had a DQ before on a US version (All Stars I think) which they acknowledged and then did a new comp (most they just ignore) but this is the first time I remember them actually acknowledging it before the fans raised the issue - indeed it wasn't broadcast live so even more remarkable they actually enforced their rules. Not sure if anyone in the house spotted it.

Sadly means Devin is now HoH - lets see how much he messes that up. Hopefully they set up Battle of the Block so he gets dethroned and then backdoored.
 
Devin is interesting. Like everyone else, I thought he was out of line to bring the two girls into their alliance without consultation, but it ended up being useful to stop/expose Joey's all girl alliance efforts. And then I thought he was going too far with campaigning for a unanimous vote, and lo and behold, it actually was a unanimous vote. He'll probably come unstuck at some point, but so far so good.

I didn't, and still don't, understand how he was convinced that if the vote wasn't unanimous, that somehow it would guarantee the Bomb Squad would become public knowledge.

I still think he's a complete idiot that was just lucky enough that both these things have fallen his way.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if Devin gets backdoored at the first opportunity. He's so impulsive and unpredictable.

Two members of the Bomb Squad are on Team America. They will get $5,000 per every task they complete. It will be interesting if their task conflicts with their alliance.
 
Does anyone have people, like Caleb apparently has, who they can just call if they need a cuddle?

Nicole is sparking my 'Big Brother Crush Gene.' I'd give her a cuddle...
 
I love Donny. He might be playing up the sympathy, but it's pretty cute.

And I'm just fascinated with Devin. The hypocrisy, the loose cannon personality, the complete lack of awareness. I assume the first opportunity they get, his own alliance will vote him out.
 
Wasn't formed until week 4 though once the gamelines were drawn. Also came out of a brief alliance called the Silent Six, with two members dropped and Ian bought in. With the coaches it was effectively bringing together HGs already aligned in duos.

Glad Zach stayed - Paulo has turned out to be a huge disapointment. Frankie is getting on my nerves now.

What really is working this year though IMO is although everybody hates Devin and he's the shows villian, he actually isn't a horrid person to watch. It's all pretty much game, unlike the BBUK villians who are just pure evil through and through.

Amber and Donny were nominated by Nicole, while Derrick nominated Jacosta and convinced Caleb to go up as a pawn, throw Battle of the Block to save Amber (and hopefully win her over) and then accept that he might go home if the plan to backdoor Devin doesn't work out.
 
I'm surprised more people don't discuss BB US here. I prefer BB Australia myself, but I thought more big brother fans would watch it.

I don't have any faves yet.
 
I'm so glad Zach is safe :):) I think i have a crush on him. He is probably won't go so far with honesty thing but i wanna see him as long as i can ;)
 
I'm glad Zach stayed too. But it is definitely the Devin show at the moment. Though it was so uncomfortable watching him wander around aimlessly after he lost all his power. Ok, he deserved it, but I still felt a little sorry for him.
 
I wonder if they will stick to the plan and backdoor Devin or if they will switch it up late and get Caleb out ? I would try to take Caleb out.
 
Looks like they are sticking to the plan so far. Both Devin and Caleb are nuts..either can go and I would be okay with it.
 
Haven't been watching but I came across an article today...

Had no idea Frankie Grande was in there! Haha! Love that guy.

How the other HG's don't recognise him is beyond me! :D
 
Because he and hist sister aren't anywhere near as significant as he thinks they are. I'd love him to reveal his sister and nobody have a clue who she is.
