I don’t necessarily have an issue with “jail” but I definitely think that having them sit in jail in the cold is cruel. I also think they need to get a little more creative with their punishments.Yes, and not a fan of nominations being retrospectively voided. Screams producer manipulation. Really not a fan of them punishing people by sticking them in cages too - it's Big Brother, not Guantanamo.

Wahoo!
As of yesterday's Late and Live (when she was still in the cage), she'd been in there three hours. At least she was smart because apparently she loaded her pockets up with food before entering the cage and Matty was also shown bringing her a hot drink. So wasn't too bad in there really.

Honestly for what it’s worth they had enough space inside to build a “sin bin” like BBAU. If this was a summer/spring series being outside wouldn’t be too bad but at this time of year I wouldn’t want to be stuck out there for hours at a time… Especially in the rain.As of yesterday's Late and Live (when she was still in the cage), she'd been in there three hours. Yes, then a punishment task to determine if their noms stand. I'd actually make an additional penalty nom the next week the default punishment.
They've shown what Yinrun said and it was nothing, just a question. Far less than what Hallie and Olivia did. It also happened before she nominated but producers still let her nominate, only voiding it once the impact of that was known.
Nominations:

Nominations:
Originally Trish and Hallie (5 each) Yinrun nominated Hallie and Kerry, knocking Hallie down to 4 and bringing Dylan into the mix.

I don't think hms took that part seriously so bb decided not to count it. I liked the task, it was nice to see something new task wise. I didn't pay much attention though.yet on Sunday they were told who had the most eggs in their nest would determine which team won.

Or they ended up with the same number of eggs each, therefore cancelling it out.I don't think hms took that part seriously so bb decided not to count it. I liked the task, it was nice to see something new task wise. I didn't pay much attention though.

For me the team vs team aspect of the task was pointless if it was only for “control” of the budget. There just wasn’t enough incentive to be the winning team. Considering BB gave the house “refreshments” later that evening they could have sweetened the deal by adding a party for the winning team.
Exactly - and if they were tied on the eggs tell us. Just been a bit too much dodginess creeping in this week - and Trish is likely nominated because producers picked her specifically to lead the house meeting.
What's happening naturally is far more interesting such as how spread the HMs nominations are so it's never the majority if the house that want them out and so far 7/16 HMs have been up in 3 weeks with no repeat nominations.
It's just so frustrating this series is already at the half way point when this cast could easily deliver for a series twice as long.

As over the top as it was, Big Brother really made it sound like Yinrun’s nominations made a big difference to the result. And given Trish is her best friend in there and has been the most willing to go out of her way to speak with her, she is very much feeling guilty that she may be the reason that her rock in the house may go. Even though unbeknownst to yinrun, Trish would have been nominated regardless. What was with the sobbing from Yinrunwhat a baby

So had Olivia and Hallie's noms been voided last week Kerry and Paul would have been up along with Zak and Henry.
In all three cases a warning in the privacy of the diary room would have been sufficient. Producers need to treat the housemates as people, not entertainment fodder. The public humiliation of revealing their minor infringements then sticking them in a cage for hours is completely out of proportion and crucially uncomfortable to watch. Back in the day "jail" was a bit of a fun punishment but the cages just feel unnecessarily cruel.

Yeah agreed. The exposing of rule breaking to everyone is unnecessary. I didn’t enjoy seeing Yinrun cry like that.
There was also no need to inform housemates that by voiding Yinrun’s nominations the result changed. Isn’t the whole point of nominations to be completely secret?
Whilst it doesn’t directly reveal anything it does in someway suggest Yinrun didn’t nominate one or either of the nominees. But I guess that’s only dependant on how analytical they are towards who each other voted for.

So I intitally thought I wouldn’t like Olivia. She positioned herself in the beginning as a bit of the “bitch” and I thought her directness would eventually start to grate. I also didn’t see much in terms of an endearing quality that would soften the harsher aspects of her personality. That said she’s probably one of the most honest HM’s and I generally think her directness is well intentioned. Absolutely loved how she called Kerry out in last nights episode
.

1. Tom
2. Noky
3. Yinrun
4. Jordan
5. Chanelle
6. Trish
7. Henry
8. Dylan
9. Hallie
10. Paul
11. Olivia
12. Matty
13. Jenkin
14. Kerry
I did accidently favour Tom over Yinrun one round which screwed it up a bit, but I'd still be OK with a Tom and Noky final two.
