🇬🇧 BBUK 2025 - starts 28 Sep

BBUK
I'm pretty much back up to date now, few points, some of the tasks have been fun. Farida came in a bit strong with that theyve been having a lot of politics talk and also on Marcus/Elsa ...Melsa? about their on and off whateverisit-uationship.

Going back to George's exit reading some of the unaired stuff yeah as to be expected theres good debate and then theres stuff that's most likely unnecessary to bring up and no one is going to entertain discussing unless like some have speculated He was pushing the boundaries and getting ejected was just extra publicity and platforming for him kinda thing IYKWIM but yeah.

Sometimes the housemates apologise and sort out between themselves as well but also they have to cover themselves I guess by giving them a warning/talking to for any unintended/potential offense to viewing public as well depending on the circumstances.

Similarly Caroline is being a stirrer and its half entertaining on one hand to have a 'villain' around, on the other It does make you wonder as well though whether she really is that tone deaf/generational mindset sortof thing at times or whether she's also could potentially be putting it on a bit to agitate the others to stir the pot and having the backup 2 weeks immunity in her pocket allowed her more room to go ham (as did this week's ave/Replace card).

Like I think she was saying in the diary room she knows how mention of Farage riles them up and such, and it seemed in that 'discussion' with Zelah and Teja misinterpreting it as them getting angry with her and going in circles, or maybe she was also letting it go over her head on purpose, but she does overstep the mark at times like when she blurted out that comment with Zelah trying to lead Nancy's answers in that hypothetical game that got down the wrong track. (right context for what she was trying to get at, but very bad wording).

Nancy and Sam, it was good thing that week wasn't a real eviction because they basically gave the house free nomination fodder for no reason by code talk that wasn't even necessary LOL.

I think at this point I could see Richard, Sam, Elsa, Cameron in the final, Not sure about some of the others, but we'll see how it goes.

I agree with the others but I think Sam getting together with Nancy and Caroline and becoming really bitchy has turned the public completely off him.

Not at the moment but in a few years under new management perhaps, especially if they ever become a privately owned broadcaster.
They just appointed a new chair of the C4 board in September, and currently only have an 'interim' CEO, so depending on who they find to take over... maybe the "right time" is coming up?

I'm guessing The Inheritance didn't do massively well (it was... fine, as Traitors clones go 🤷‍♂️) so they surely wouldn't hate the idea of another big reality show. Are Bake Off and Taskmaster their only 'big' shows nowadays?

Yes this is entirely wishful thinking but let me dream 🙃

Love Caroline losing the plot on the livestream, she is upset that Richard got huge cheers and doesn't understand why because 'he does nothing in the house'.

And she now knows the crowd was chanting 'Get Caroline Out' courtesy of Jenny.

Thought the boos for Zelah were very undeserved just because he flirted with both Feyisola and Sam.

Emily bringing up on the livestream that Zelah saying that the world is better off without Charlie Kirk in it as a possible reason he got evicted is not something I thought I would hear.

Not gonna lie, I’m oddly satisfied by these turn of events. Things feel interesting again and, probably to ITV’s surprise, almost all of it happened naturally.

Tell me why I lowkey love when a HM hears the audience booing them… like I know it goes against the show’s concept, but sometimes I get so much satisfaction out of it. 😈

Caroline is such a decisive character. In some respects I think she has made this season. She just can’t understand what the audience is (and isn’t) seeing in her and certain other HMs, and that’s what makes this whole thing fascinating to watch.

The set-up earlier in the week with Caroline putting Zelah up because “he won’t go”, to tonight’s cheers for Richard, the boos for Zelah, Zelah actually leaving and the HMs in total shock about it all. I’m eager to watch the fall-out.

Also, Sam needs to be taken down a peg. I wasn’t a fan since day one, but sorry now he’s completely and utterly insufferable. I think the fake eviction gave him a chip on his shoulder. Time for Sam to go, as well as all the other mean girls.

So many of these HMs are still very unlikeable. At this stage I think I’d be happy seeing Tate or Marcus win over most of the others. That’s saying something.

Yep the update part of the eviction was really good this time and as noted above it happened organically.

Funnily enough the Caroline-Sam-Nancy triad was already starting to put the rest of the house offside before the eviction happened. Now that Zelah is gone I'm hoping for a big fallout.

Jenny in the diary room talking about beans was genuinely hilarious.

There are A LOT of people still in the house at this stage who shouldn’t be in there. That is my big issue with the itv format. The series doesn’t run long enough for this many housemates / twists. People like Marcus, Tate, Elsa and Emily are bringing nothing.

I came to really like Farida. What a sweetheart.

I feel Cameron, Richard or Jenny will win

The Caroline, Sam and Nancy group desperately needs to be broken up

Just caught up and I’m gutted Zelah got the boot! I feel like the Sam flirtation really hurt him with the public and I get it, imo Sam is insufferable, and I liked him till the mean girl alliance with Nancy.
The only upside is how pissed Caroline is that Uncle Rich is still there, can’t wait to watch her get in her own head about the boos and hopefully melt down proper in the next few days.
I don’t have a favourite to win. At an absolute stretch, just to annoy Caz, I’d be ok with Uncle taking it out.

When they all first went in, I thought Sam was a breath of fresh air, but as time goes on I'm starting to question whether he's genuine, half the time he seems to be performing or at least that's the way it seems to me. I did like his friendship with Nancy, but i wouldn't be very sad to see him go. Richard for the win! Loved him in the Bad Brother task, I think he was thoroughly enjoying himself.

Sam is absolutely playing up for the cameras
