hey y’all been catching up the last few days from week 2 to now and almost up to date again (some thoughts coming shortly).

You constantly saying this may just persuade me to give it a watch eventually. Perhaps after BBAU 2025.

The only downside for me going into it is I think I already know who won.

Yeah that hasn’t affected my watch through in what tidbits I already knew/was aware of before I started like most of the winners etc, in going through it as spoiler averse as i can manage with piecing together the rest of the seasons as I go is also fun in its own way.

I’m not too far off BB19 myself, at the second week of BB14 atm. Iirc one of the only pieces of BB19 I vaguely recall having watched a clip of a couple years ago (if I’m thinking of the correct season) was

As for readapting some previous tasks, it was funny to see when they originally did the rats/scientists task from last season (BB21) in BB13 with some slight differences. That rules/and wardens task they did a few weeks back this season was another one very similar to a BB13 task only here it was for the eye currency and not a shopping task.

Watch it anyways.. if you liked the ITV's first season, you will love C5's last season. I don't think knowing the winner spoils the season at all. Turn it around and try to watch out for the moment(s) that pushed the eventual winner closer to victory.

I meant to respond to this earlier but today was an in office workday and I got distracted… Little boy based on what your profile says you’re not that much younger than me. Anyways it did make me smile.

I'm a few episodes behind but ... ehhhh.

The secret housemates returning has derailed a lot of momentum. The worst thing intruders can do is come blazing in, being patronising and claiming they can spice up the house. We have seen how this plays out many times once their immunity is over.

It's also becoming the Caroline and Farida show - not entirely a complaint because we needed it to move along from being the Zelah show and the George show. But god they're grating. Caroline in particular, I've never seen some one generate so many one-sided beefs out of thin air.

Well, I'm 36 now.. but back then when I joined these forums, I was much younger, twinkier and dumber. I've just finished school and was ready to move out to the big gay world. I would have considered myself a young boy back then.

Me too. I have it on as more of a background thing every day, rather than actively watching. I’ll stick it out as there’s only a few weeks to go but I’m not invested whatsoever.

And yet, I’d still say last season was more painful for me to sit through. Admittedly that was an attempt to watch the whole thing in one go, but I haaaaated those HMs and episodes. At least 2025 hasn’t been pure torture to watch like 2024 was.
